Ronaldo out again. As if Portugal needed any more bad luck.

Haven't heard it from any European news but all the US + Canadian sports news is saying Ronaldo was told to sit out the Germany game due to his knee tendonitis. Really hope he doesn't pull a Kaka.

EDIT: Beto said in an interview that Cristiano is fine and tired of reading fake stories about him in the media. Seleccao have yet to tweet anything official.

Ronaldo didnt look injured against Germany.

This could be his last World Cup(30 in february), Real Madrid needs to STFU.

If Rnnaldo doesn't play, that makes it huge for us.

Hah if Ronaldo doesn't play because of injury, Real Madrid are having the worst World Cup ever. Everyone except Benzema seems out of it, blame CL!

Modric's been good on the pitch, and Sami hasn't been bad either. Not to mention Varane :D our other defenders have been atrocious though.

I don't buy it. Ronnie hasn't been himself in a while and may be injured far worse than the Seleção is letting on.

Would've loved him even more if he punched that guy in the face for asking stupid questions.

Why would he care about Donovan not playing?!

Altidore has been ruled out and Dempsey is going to play with a broken nose...I'm not sure if I like our chances. The outcome of this game could very well depend on whether Ronaldo plays or not.

If the US can come out with a tie at least, i'll be very happy with that.

Of course there will still be some impressive games and advancing for European teams, but this World Cup is shaping us as time for Latin America to shine... And I think it will be a dark horse that wins it all.

Honestly not worried. I think we draw pretty easily, maybe get the win. Portugal looks lost and don't have their two best defensive players. We will be going into the game confident and tactically different (not relying on a hold up striker) and I think we pull it off.

It sucks about Altidore but hopefully we keep grinding for him.

Sami and Cris are Pepe's disappointed parents.

Germany is doomed. Regina the Octopus, the successor of the famous Paul the Octopus, has determined that Ghana will beat us tomorrow. :banghead: :noway:
