Did they seriously abbreviate season as SZN on a major magazine cover?

I don't know if I would call SLAM a major magazine. I guess it's major in the basketball world, but it's a magazine that's long passed its prime and trying to be cool and on the edge to keep the younger demographic interested.

It's because Wiggins is from Toronto and Drake is the hottest rapper from there and SZN is his thing.

It worked so well for JR Smith

I'd take Embiid over him for Cleveland, not sure about your franchise though.

Andrew isn't a nut head. Besides that move was to keep JR and it worked.

Bulls didn't need to sign Larry Jordan to make MJ happy. I think we'll be okay without him.

It worked so well with Dragis that when he forced a trade he took his brother with him to Miami

Why do 76ers fans hate Wiggins so much? They were bashing him in the rookie thread all year, and in the Wiggins highlight thread on the GB, a 76er fan is picking apart every flaw in his game in what is essentially a Wiggins appreciation thread. I don't see anyone bashing Noel and detailing his every weakness.

It's because they are a fanbase of a large appetite, so in their current phase of rebuilding, they feel like proving that they are the best franchise at the rebuilding phase, which has to include criticizing our biggest asset. They only want to feel as good about their franchise as they can.

They also think Noel is the next great big man because he blocks two shots a game.
That he gets pushed around in a lot of the games, sometimes lacks concentration on D and is a huge work in progress on O is swept under the carpet.

They also wouldn't trade the 3rd pick in this years draft for Giannis who will be a top 5 two way player in the league in 2 or 3 years at latest.

Pretty sure most of their fan base wanted Wiggins to fall to them at #3, IIRC.

All of a sudden he's overrated. Hmm...

I would rather gamble on D'Angelo Russel than Gianni's Adentokoumpo, so I have no issue with that thought process, especially given their desperate need for shooting and guard play.

Not all of them, but there are 3 or 4 that are constantly downplaying Wiggins abilities (often misusing advanced stats to do so), likely to prop up Noel.

Ehh, if he proves to be healthy then maybe, as of now I'd take Wiggins for any franchise. Had Embiid not gotten injured, he may have been in Cleveland and who knows if Cleveland makes the trade, Wiggins would of went two or three, crazy how an injury during a workout completely changed the future of so many teams, not just one.

The possibility of having an 18-20 ppg player able to guard any player in the league except for maybe 2-3 PGs and 2-3 Cs does not intrigue you? Because that's exactly what Giannis will be in a couple years.
