Perhaps prancing on stage when he is supposed to be injured does not reflect well on NN.

He can go do that with KD in GS

I have no problem with that. Noel has a hurt knee. It doesn't mean he can't walk. Do you think he has to get around in a wheelchair? He can live his life. Let him live.

Noel definitely checked out. Extremely disappointed in him.

He may want out but him being at that concert does no thing prove that. I have no problem with him there.

That's not a definitive thing that makes me conclude that. His overall disconnect is.

I'm more disappointed that Okafor IS here, than Noel not wanting to be here. :D

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

For sure. I wish Noel had been the one to adopt the optimistic mindstate, though. He's been acting like a ***** and it's unbecoming.

I was so impressed with how he ended his rookie year, that I have been tremendously disappointed in him ever since. He regressed last year on the court, and is now being difficult. I don't blame him for how he feels, but I blame him for how he acts.

I don't care about the concert, but I do think that he is hurting the team right now by depressing his trade value.

Outside of the injury, I want his attitude to be that he is going to show the Sixers that he is their best center, and take up the challenge. If he loses the competition fair and square then he moves on to a large role on another team.

It's crazy how Noel has just quit on this team without even giving things a chance to play out. I think if he came in with a better attitude and improved his game he would have gotten his minutes. He needs to realize he is a roll player, and not the guy. He has shown no interest in playing with Embiid and Simmonds, who would have made him a better player.

I think that he knows that Embiid is better than him, but he feels like he can be better than Okafor.

Did you guys read the Sports Illustrated article about Embiid? It makes sense that a player wouldn't travel with the team while injured and would stay away. I don't think it's indicative that he quit on the team and I certainly don't think there's much evidence that he has no interest in playing with Embiid and Simmons.

I agree that it looks like there's a greater chance that he's moved rather than Okafor and it's rather unfortunate. I hope that if we trade Noel, we trade both.

I don't think that he quit on the team, and I think he is a good dude that is well liked.

However, he IS pouting a bit, and that is to nobody's advantage.

I think the point is that Noel was supposedly not around the team because he was rehabbing in Alabama. But this shows he is not around the team.. and going to concerts in Philly.

Radio silence at Liberty Ballers. Not surprising.

You guys seemed to be freaked out like Noel is somehow hurting the sixers. If anything it helps the Sixers and makes the decison easy. Thanks Noel.

Of course it's not going to happen at this point but considering the Schroder extension (4x70) and the rumored Oladipo extension (4-or-5 x80), I wonder if could be the right move to try to extend Noel in that range (4x75).

It could turn out to be a bargain, even in case of a later trade.
Honestly, the first side to be hurt by this sort of holding out, is Noel himself.

He is more valuable on the court for this team right now over Okafor, but he should be proving it, or showing more ambition. I know he is hurt by the way he thinks the team is treating him, but they took a chance on him by trading for him when he was hurt. He hasn't shown any improvement on the offensive end either . I never expected to become a knock down mid range shooter, but Shawn Bradley had a better offensive game then him.

Noel hasn't earned anything yet in this league and he has this sense of entitlement where he feels his needs should be prioritized.

The approach he's chosen to take lacks any professionalism. Nerlens showing bad form.
