Good God, Devin Booker and Tyler Ulis really did a number on C fans last year. Now they hate Jackson too haha. Pretty funny reading their comments. I have to wonder why we're getting all of this hate lately. We must be doing something right?!

I just dont understand the logic of them questioning his "Competitive nature". Saying that he didnt want to compete for a roster spot or on a playoff team is BS. Thats a cop out and they really grasping at straws to find anything to bash him on.

And shame on you posters that went over there to troll. Thats not how we act, we are above that.

I echo Kerrsed here. There's no need to be over there trolling. We're currently on a 7 year playoff drought.

Also, J.J. is supposedly the most competitive guy in this draft class. That changes because he angled for a better situation for himself where he'd play more? I can appreciate the rich history of a franchise like Boston's but damn their fans can be entitled little babies sometimes.

It's funny how so many NBA fans claim they support players having as much control over their destiny as possible versus GMs and owners who also mainly just look out for themselves, but the moment a player makes things a little inconvenient for someone's team they freak out.

What I loved about our draft: two 'young' seniors (both will be 22 in 1st season)

Alec Peters (overall -0.01 grade) graded well as a 3pter (+0.45), FT (+1.36), playmaking (+0,27), ball protection (+0.6) and NetRtg (+0.38)

Davon Reed (overall 0.00 grade) graded well in physical traits (+0.74), 3pt (+0.57), FT (+0.12), defense (+0.12), NetRtg (+0.39) and BPM (+0.42)

Since Ryan McDonuts came from Boston, I'm always tickled whenever we're in the sights of C's fans, or have a pick adjacent to theirs.

I've been dormant from the Suns forum for a while. Do you all see why we traded IT? We knew he was capable of that, but you need a historic offense or a historic defense to win a championship (preferably both). Isaiah could give us neither, with the lack of ball movement he provides. The Cavs, Warriors and 2014 Spurs just proved it; iso ball is the past. Ball movement is the future and the present.

The Celtics have a bunch of B guys. Hayward's a solid B+. So is Paul George. We have a bunch of B+ to A guys that haven't fully developed yet.

In four years, we'll have the better team. I guarantee it. Until then, we can't say much of anything to C's fans. Grace is better than foolishness, 11 times out of 10. Don't poke the bear with nothing to back it up.

I consider 2014 a playoff berth. We won 48 games, for crying out loud. Sure, I can't prove it to anybody, but we were certainly deserving.

Find a PG somewhere, or, as mentioned, may be we drafted him. Perhaps we call up that white kid from a few years back that Johnny Vancouver was in love with.

Thats the guy Mooch.... forgot he was a SG. Playing in Jeruselem now.

you can troll Celtics fans with a naked hook.Their fans are widespread and rank up there (down there) with steeler fans on arrogance. I think I know more C fans than the rest of the league combined.... but I am on the east coast and shielded fortunately from the fLaker fan boy train. I personally wish no titles for Boston ever again. Perhaps my least liked team in the east. Tired of the Wizardlight Jedi label on Ainge. He fleeced an inexperienced desperate new foreign owner and is dubbed Lord of the Deal. Go ahead and celebrate the IT swap too.... they aren't winning anything with that diminutive chucker, but now stuck with him till he demands a chunky paycheck. I dont see them as anything to get excited or concerned about, even if they land Hayward or Griffin. I think they have a hodgepodge roster.

It all makes sense now, Frank...BTW, there's this saying...something to do with kettle and pot and the color black...

...you are too funny about labeling anyone else as having arrogance...too funny...

...that's ok, Frank, I still like you, and will continue to 'kill you with kindness' until it makes you puke, or your eyes bleed, or both. You can hate on me and Steeler fans, IN GENERAL...because we're all the same right...Steeler fans, that is?? I mean, just like Suns fans?? We're all the same?? You and me...me and you...just think about it Frank, you are JUST LIKE a STEELER FAN!

I'm not so sure it was ALL Josh and his agent. If I'm McD, this is how my conversation with Jackson went right after Boston traded down.

McD - "Josh? Hey, Ryan McDonough here. Hey, so, you know what just happened, right?"

Josh - "Yeah, I saw, Boston traded down to 3"

McD - "No, I mean what that actually means. It means they have their eyes set on you."

Josh - "Yeah, I guess, that's pretty cool."

McD - "Oh, it is? So now you're the 3rd best player in this draft, all of a sudden?"

Josh - "Naw man, you know I'm the best. It's just obvious that the Sixers had their eyes on Markelle, so they traded up to get him, and since the Lakers are likely all in on Ball, they figured they could get me at 3."

McD - "And you're ok with that, huh, that the Lakers are 'likely all in on Ball' because to me, the difference between the #1 pick Contract, that should be yours, and the #2, or you know, 'likely' #3, which is NOW, likely yours, is some coin. Now I know, if we had the #1 pick in the draft, we'd want to pick the #1 prospect, but more important to YOU, we wouldn't be finding a way to pay you less...we'd be willing to PAY the #1 Prospect what he's worth. Now you know, we're building something special down here, and are but just a couple pieces away of being true title contenders, with Book, And Marquise and Dragan, then add in some vet leadership at the point and 5 in Eric and Tyson, with you complementing TJs skillset at the 3, or subbing in for Chriss at the 4, when we go small? Add in a little, and I mean REAL little Tyler, naw, I'm just playin', but seriously, with Ulis' spark, and Big Sauce coming up, well, BIG for us last season, like I said, it could be special in a year or two. But we need you here to make it happen.

So you can go be buried down the depth chart behind Crowder and Jaylen, and fight for the left overs with Gerald Green, for a team that was willing to 'gamble' the fact that you'd be there at 3; probably just as happy with Ball, I guess, and figures they can't lose, right, they'll either get you or Ball. Does that sound like the FO that's going to fight for your development...ensure your playing time next season?"

Josh - "Well, I guess I didn't think it about that way..."

McD - "Hey Josh. That's ok. That's why I'm here; to make sure you get that NBA development and playing time. Now I can tell you, if I had the #1 prospect available to me with the #1 pick, well, I'd make dam'n sure I secured that #1 player. Looks to me like maybe Danny's not sure who he thinks is the best player...I don't know, maybe it's just me..."

Josh - "Aw hell naw...no, no you're right Mr. McDonough. What you say makes a lot of sense..."

*NOTE - I apologize for this last section that I've edited out. Was just trying to insert some levity into the discussion as to how the conversations went between McD and Jackson, and why it wasn't just Josh and his agent that made this happen; there's no doubt McD played a major role in making this happen. I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone.

And Warren, Big Sauce, Ulis, and DJJ as well. I really think Len needs to be given a fair shot; given at least 30 games straight to start and play 27-35 MPG, and see how he does. If they did, and he stayed healthy, and wasn't asked to give fouls he didn't need to give, I think he's make it to 25 minutes 95% of the time, and in the process, be a 12/10/2BLKs player.

Sorry for my ignorance, but where are these grades coming from, and who is the 'authority' for these grades? That's a lot of plusses, to then have an 'even' total score.

That's in interesting question. Who on the Suns roster would you trade for IT, straight up, right now?

I am way to much of a homer, I just don't see IT as a good fit on this roster.

We should stay off their board. I wouldn't want them here arguing on this board!
