I need to see Beal be that guy in the sim before I really like it for the Kings. For some reason sim Beal has always under performed at every stop he made it feels, he's just one of those sim guys that never got his due. For the Blazers it's hard to not like just because Durant was always the main guy, Brown seems like a perfect Batman for him in the sim.

I like (hate) it better for the Blazers but I do think the Kings improved. Beal isn't behind anyone here like he was in Dallas and has good defensive backing. If it's gonna work, this is the spot.

Deservedly, much has been made of Wendell Carter Jr.’s improvement on the offensive end. He’s shooting over 50 percent from the field and has already made 32 3-pointers, five more than he did in his first three NBA seasons combined.

One interesting and telling stat, per Second Spectrum tracking data, is the blow-by rate when opponents attempt to drive on the Magic’s starting power forward. Of the 96 times an opponent has made a move toward the basket with Carter defending, on only 25 instances has the player blown past him (26 percent). Among all players 6’10 or above who have guarded drives at least 50 times this season, that’s the lowest blow-by percentage in the league.

For comparison purposes, Anthony Davis has a defensive blow-by percentage of 31 percent, Giannis Antetokounmpo 33 percent and Evan Mobley 41 percent. They are three of the best defenders in the NBA.

I hear you, but no team is going to out-star Cleveland or Dallas so trying to go toe-to-toe, star for star is a bad approach IMO. We also have T-Mann and Wendell who both should help improve our regular season record. I’ll roll the dice on this balanced SL.

I love Beal, but at the end of day he was going to get torched by the opposing wings, and we don’t have a defensive anchor to cover for him. Luckily SacTo has the perfect covers for him so it's a win-win.

I see the vision bro. Not sure if I agree with it though. I'd be trying to go as star for star as I could and hope Melo got unlucky and had some injuries lol.

If it makes you better or provides a bridge to it, do what you gotta do bredren! The good thing about BAF is we don’t have to deal with real life player personalities, uprooting their families from cities and all that stuff. Just play to win.
