But if the Bulls decide that Butler is the one to go, I would trade them Knight, Tucker, the Suns pick, and the Cleveland pick. I really do not want to trade Warren because giving up Warren, a top lottery pick, and another first round pick, plus Knight and Tucker is a lot to give up.
I also do not want to give up Len in the package because I am not a believer in trading a center for a shooting guard. I know Len might never become an all-star center but if he does, I would hate to see it happen in another team's uniform. The Suns should give him one more year before he becomes a restricted free agent to see if he turns into an impact player.
Btw, I think the fact that the Suns current players are lobbying for Watson is irrelevant. These current players suck. I do not give a damn what they think. Only bring Watson back if you believe he is 100% the right guy. If you let players like Tucker, Chandler, or Teletovich have a say in who the next coach is, you deserve to be a horrible team. Like a said a while ago, I would be ecstatic if the Suns have an entirely new roster next season with the only returning players being Booker, Warren, and maybe Goodwin, Len, and Bogdanovich.
I definitely agree with you very first and very last sentences in that post. I also would trade the crap you mention for Butler, but they wouldn't and I wouldn't trade what I think it would take to get Butler. Now if we miss out on Simmons/Ingram/Bender and could trade our two lotto picks (and it would probably take Len too) for him, I'd think about it, but I wouldn't want to trade Len either. Not sure our two lotto picks would do it alone, but they could take like Murray or Dunn or Hield and than their new big like Poetl if he slides or something.
Dunn//Luwawu/McDermott/Portis/Poeltl as future lineup with Mirotic, Dunleavy, Rose (or whatever they get for him) off the bench.
