He is just guessing. If Boston doesn't trade for KP, they take Tatum for themselves, if they can, Jackson.

He must have just heard NY asking price is ridiculous and Boston is back to plan A before the NY melt down.

I'm kinda curious...if they take Isaac, then do they play him at the 4? Because they drafted Chriss and Bender last year who are both 4s so will be interesting.

My guess is they will try Isaac at the 3. He'll just have to improve his Ball handling quite a bit but I think he can do it.

Isaac has made the most sense to me from the beginning if they couldn't get Jackson. Selfless, smart, high IQ player that can play multiple positions, is an aggressive defender and is willing to do whatever a team needs in order to win. He isn't going to be a high volume scorer but the Suns already have Booker and can add other players down the road to do that.

I hope the Suns would not waste this pick on Isaac - limited role player is not something we need at 4. Never was that high on him and reading more about his personality and character has actually worsened my opinion about him as I'm one of those people who thinks psychological make up is the most important thing to determine success. and Isaac just doesn't have it. In addition, he's the same type of player, at the same position that we already have in Bender, except I think Bender is better than Isaac in every category except athleticism. Taking Isaac also would send a bad message to Bender. Something that would probably be fine with Watson as he has no clue on how to use Bender. Dealing with Isaac is going to be easier as Watson can plant him in the corner to jack up 3's and not do anything else (not that he can do much else) and not complain about it.

I think so too. He will be a 3 and will compensate for Warren and Booker being below average defenders.

Edit: very good supporting player, but not second option. Maybe if Chris were more Amare

If Jackson is available then he should be the pick no question about it but I've resigned myself long ago to him being gone. I want the Suns to have another Shawn Marion with an almost equally **** up looking shot. :lol:

Oh, so he's come around to the likely truth? Not sure I expected it, but it's certainly looked that way to me since he shut down working out for teams drafting after 4. I won't be shocked if we don't take him but that's been my gut feel.
