We have a special team, not special players. We need to remember that our whole is greater than the sum of our parts. How about Nader stepping in after three months off, and giving all he had?

Can someone check if Aytons 19/22/3/4 blks has been done in past decade in postseason? Cause that is a special stat which is difficult in recording.

To be fair, we won the game before pg 42. But we are 10-1 with the jersey.

Threads would be at like 69 pages if I was posting. But too hard to post from my friend's house. Feels rude to be on my phone around other people.
We'd definitely have 6-7 more pages with you and Slovenia dragon posting. Not quite sure where he has been lately as he was a regular poster in the RS. Puddle the hilarious poster with Tom Leander avatar used to post as well but I see him posting more on GB.

If we advance I cant wait for PJ Tucker who is taller than Beverly to lock him up. Book will most than likely shoot 33% throughout the series. Suns would need Ayton, CP3, Bridges, and another player like Cam or Crowder to play out of their minds and contribute. Maybe by then Carter, Nader, Saric will give us a much needed contribution but it's a long pipe dream.

Man so much “Suns are only winning because everyone they play is injured” crap on the GB. Even a “weakest champion since 2004” thread is on there.
Seems like 90% of the active fanbase that posts here is banned on the GB too so barely have any representation. Half of the remaining 10% doesn’t have any interest in posting there (understandable) so we’re badly outnumbered.
If the Lakers somehow made it to the finals under the same circumstances (healthy Lakers vs non healthy teams), the threads would be “Is LeBron the greatest of the greatest of the greatest of the greatest to ever play basketball” or “Is LeBron now officially the greatest human being in general (not only basketball) on Earth?” etc.

Well said RDG. Our team has an insane team chemistry and elite defense. We dont have a KD, Harden, Irving, Lillard etc that could take over a game scoring 3-4 straight buckets to ice the game. Booker may get to that level but still VERY far away. Chris Paul did just that but against a weak defense team in Denver. In last 2 games we are seeing too much iso book and Paul. Chris is usually money from mid range but since coming back cant seem to get into a rhythm. Ayton saved us in games 2 and 4 without him we may be down 3-1 or at worst 2-2 but 3-1 down is 90% more likely.

So then you're rooting against Booker doing good against the Bucks???

I hope that's not what you're saying. FWIW, Yes, Tucker is a great defender, But I wouldn't think he'd have nearly as much success against Booker as Beverly has had, Because even though Tucker is bigger/ stronger, He's not quick enough to keep up with Booker the way Pat Bev can.

What do you expect from the GB board? I'm certain 90% are middle school, high school a d college posters. They watch a ton of espn and repeat their nonstop b.s. they can't think for themselves yet. Most are fans of a certain player like Curry, KD, or Lebron. I'm glad that I was banned there few years back I dont want to message Howard to come back cause with my anger issues I'd get banned immediately again.

Yeah I know my post sounded worst than it should have been but I'm just frustrated with book at this point. If Beverly can figure out and bother Book for THREE straight games after his 40 point triple double explosion. What do you think Tucker will do to him? I'm just being realistic and refuse to put Booker on a pedestal. I see his flaws and am addressing them accordingly.

Yeah, there is not much good to be found in the general board.

Look at the guy on the Clippers bench standing up with the white hat on. He busted out laughing on Cousins miss and could barely hide it
It might be Ibaka but I’m not quite sure.
Cousins even tried to be extra sneaky by faking like he was gonna take a dribble (like many FT shooters do) right before throwing it off the glass

Ohh I completely agree with you man that Booker can fustrate the Ish out of anyone with his " Iso Book" Hero Ball! And there's no excuse for him not to make adjustments either. I for my part won't choose to accept him as the star of this team until he shows the necessary growth and ability to adapt and overcome accordingly. And I do hope that he does! I do think that Tucker ( one of my favorite suns players) will fustrate him in pick " n" roll sequences as well as in the paint. However, I just don't think that Tucker is fast enough to realistically keep up with Booker in certain situations. I agree too that he doesn't deserve to be on a pedestal, To me, He's still far too streaky and not yet mature and experienced enough to carry any titles as a leader of this team. To be fair, until he shows more growth, I'll see him as more of a 2nd option. And yes, He still has quite a few flaws yet to be overcome. I just don't want wish him any further struggles, As by association, it makes our success and hopes for our first championship more difficult as a result of his struggles. I just want him to be successful as it benefits us in our goals towards a championship if he is! But I do agree with you on many points of course.

Yeah, that was Ibaka. I keep forgetting he is on their team. I remember saying prior to season that Clippers will likely make finals with addition of Lue, Batum and Ibaka. Imagine if Kawhi & Ibaka was healthy can you honestly see us winning the series? I may be a Suns fan but going into the series I'd pick Clippers in 6 without a thought. Ibaka was critical along with Gasol on that Raprors championship team.

Its pretty rad that were going back to phoenix for the chance to close out this series. A stadium full of fans who want the Suns go to the finals for the first time in almost 30 years? Yeah, that place is going to be LOUD!

Very well said, a ton of great points you brought up. Us fans will without a doubt he upset with his current play but as you've stated, Booker is very young in just his first playoffs so the experience isn't quite there yet. Heck, unless you are Jordan, Wilt, Russell, Magic or Kareem it takes time to build a playoff resume and be clutch in your first or 2nd year in the postseason. For his first test prior to last 3 games referring to first game against Clippers, whole series vs Lakers & Nuggets, Booker has indeed impressed me with not just shooting but his overall defense, rebounds and assists. I assumed he'd be rusty but has proved me wrong same way Ayton has done all playoff long. Anyways, I may be hard on Booker but I want him to commit less to's and play within the offense.

I can't wait for that opportunity. Funny how I moved from a different country in April of 1993 not knowing anything about basketball or even knowing what Phoenix Suns was as I was 7 years old. But now after 20 long seasons of rooting for the Suns I cant fathom what the finals might look like. I want that BW experience he has lived through those 93 finals moments and agonies.

Yeah! Too many cases of chronic butthurt going around on the GB. Bottom line is a championship is a championship! All teams including us have had to deal with injuries, etc. We just navigated the situation better than others. We just the same as any other team have played the entire season through various calamities. And we're still overcoming constant adversities in the playoffs as well. After all we've endured and overcome to get where we are, I could care less about having sympathy for their struggles and poor luck. They deserve the same charity and empathy as they'd show us if the situation was reversed! NONE!!!
IF we succeed, This championship will be ours and well deserved!
