IF he leaves i don't think it has anything to do with playing in cleveland. he obviously loves where he's from and, if rumors are legit, tried to recruit bosh (who comes out looking the worst out of all these free agents imo, he craves attention) to come to the cavs. i think all the talk of him HAVING to win now gets to him. getting a ring with the new big 3 and maybe even with amare in NY would be easier than with the cavs. if bosh would have accepted a trade to the cavs i think lebron would definitely stay

My last words :) Do something noble for once LeBron and stay in your hometown!

Hope that's not the case, but good work defending Big Z. He's the epitome of loyalty. Most mods seem to be a little on edge right now, which is understandable. I wonder how many servers are about to burst around the internet in the coming hours.

Not sure how Z was LeBron lapdog since Z was here first. That's just grasping at straws to try to make the lapdog comment relevant to Z. Heck, we weren't even the ones calling Bosh a lapdog, that was Van Gundy.

LeBron is at Cleveland State right now watching high school basketball players hoop it up.

Maybe he's enjoying his last hours in his home area before he becomes outlawed.

In my opinion, LeBron is coming back to Cleveland despite the reports. I believe his team leaked this info about the Heat to make it more of a spectacle when he decides to stick around. He'll look like the ultimate hometown hero.

Regardless, Cleveland fans should be pissed even if he does stay. He has strung you guys along to get the most out of this, making this whole thing as frustrating for you guys as possible.

Pocklington and McNall agreed to the trade without Gretsky knowing about the situation. Pocklington needed money and McNall wanted Gretsky. McNall was given the right to talk to Gretsky and at first Gretsky didn't want to make the move. After he found out the Pocklington position, he accepted the trade idea. A lot different than how LeBron is jerking around the Cav fans.

May God Bless the people of Akron, Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.

Tonight there is going to be enough tears to make a new ocean.

The passion and emotions will be out of control.

The people are shell shocked at what is being reported.

Local news here (In MIAMI) just said that a Cavs executive confirms that LeBron flew and met with Miami Heat owner Micky Arison last night in Miami.

It probably helps that no one cares about hockey.

Tears? Really? I am a Cavs fan, and if Lebron has decided to go then so be it. I wont lose any sleep or shed any tears. He will regarded in my house as one step above Boozer. An attention whore yes, but dishonest? No, not like Boozer.
Will I boo him when he comes back? Absolutely. Will I root against him? Absolutely. Like the Michigan joke, my favorite teams will be the Cavs and whoever is playing the Heat. It really is that simple, no tears necessary. He will become the enemy if he chooses to leave.

Good article from Thomsen.
Will LeBron really go on national TV to leave Cleveland and his hometown fans in the most painful way possible.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/w ... index.html

If LeBron announce in the national TV that he leaves Cleveland he'll be the biggest bastard ever in sports.

Its funny on the Knicks board there isn't one Amare thread on the entire first page despite him being the best player they've had on that team since Patrick Ewing. It's all about LBJ.

I almost feel bad for NYC, they had these false hopes and illusions of grandeur for years about acquiring Lebron. If he turns them down they will be like an unrequited lover scorned.

They can't see him leaving money? Chris Bosh very likely just left as much as LeBron is leaving and he doesn't have any major endorsements or money coming in.

I think I'm the only non-Cavs fan hoping your guy comes back. There are so many Heat and Bulls fans popping up and staking claims to next years Finals; it's only fair for him to re-sign and blow up everything.
