Thank God for the Yankees...I’d be insane without them

Whew ! that was a close one. If we had lost this series I think Boone would have been fired, now he has a chance to redeem himself.

The Rays are going to be tough. They do all the small things to win, we need to do the same. Hope our bats can carry on to that series.

Hopefully Chapman get out of this. Sanchez just can’t be a every day catcher...

I hated that move.

I would’ve brought in Chapman way earlier, need the best arms in high leverage situations.

But that tells me they REALLY don’t trust Ottovino or Holder in a postseason series, cause that’s crazy that they would bring Lasagna out for a high leverage moment.

I’d imagine this series with the Rays will be a bloodbath akin to 2003 ALCS vs Red Sox.

And yes I’m talking about brawls and the whole nine.

Only the Mets could've screwed this up so badly. We could've just signed DJ but fcking Brodie the newbie wanted to make a big splash so he traded away half our farm system for Cano and Diaz. :noway: Brodie and Rojas will probably be gone soon.

Holder it makes sense. Ottovino was brought in specifically for that role.
The fact that Boone doesn't trust him means Ottovino has kind of been a bust.

Vino Ain’t been the same since not performing well in playoffs last year. Not a post season arm.

It'll be interesting to see what Cohen directs his front office to do this offseason. Figure he'd want to make a splash.

It's funny you mention Piazza, I had a couple girls think that I was Mike Piazza when I was in college. Had I gone along with it, I woulda gotten laid at that point.

I know. You told me and JVG that story on the Mets thread. You’re more senile than shammgod.

JVG said he gets mistaken for Ryan Howard. You two should go out on the town together one night. I’ll be your wingoman.
