Quick. Tell me what was Max and Caleb's percentages for the playoffs prior to this year. They seemed to have improved this year. I wonder what Herro shot from 3 the one game he played before injury. Maybe 2-4? Hope stupid of me to think he'd possibly improve like other younger players are. Silly me. Of course improvements can never happen.

Exactly!! And we’ve been so much better this season when he plays AND starts!

We've only been good in the post season especially when our 3pt shooting has been blistering hot. I guess we weren't up 13 in Game 1 vs Milwaukee with Herro playing before he left with injury.

Still very impressed with the barrage of whoop ass this team has inflicted.

That turd quarter run was truly a confluence of every type of error, the kind of turd that lingers in your thoughts even after you flush

Herro had a great playoffs as a rookie. That 37pt performance in the Conference Finals was legendary. Struggled vs the Lakers in the final round, but was asked to do too much once Dragic got injured.

Whole team stunk vs MIL in 2021, so I'll give him that mulligan.

2022 he was injured for a fair portion of it, and struggled as a result.

2023 he had a hot start before breaking his hand.

In summary, he's an unknown quantity in the postseason because he's been injured for a large portion of his playoff career.

Condolences. My grandmother passed away a little less than a month ago. Even knowing it was coming like mine, it was still a very hard loss. Sorry for your loss.

What was our record this season without Tyler Herro? Smh. You're acting like I'm saying Tyler Herro is KD or something. It's just obvious the team needs him at times and he brings a needed element that we lack at times.

Sacrilege. How are you a fins fan and a fan of new England sports? Almost as bad as a Jets fan being a heat fan...or a Knicks fan being a Dolphins fan.

Actually, that'd make a great GB thread; controversial fandom between sports.

You know how hard it is going to Gillette stadium in Dolphin gear?! I go through the trenches every year. Phins up! And my cousin gave me a 72 Dolphins deck of cards when I was 5. The rest is history!
Deck of cards

Just busting your balls man. the more the merrier. But if you move down here, you'll have to convert to a full Miami homer. No exceptions.

It's already stressful when your team gets this far but when the media talks and pushes pressure on your team, it will only add to your stress. I learned this from the big 3 era. Even today, I can sometimes want to know what people are saying but this game was also my slap in the face to get back to getting away from the media. It makes this experience way more stressful than it needs to be as it's just entertainment even though I love my teams.

I also started watching Heat playoff games on mute during the Big 3 era. Just couldn't do it any more with the anti-Heat commentating, and now it's become a superstition for me.

My argument is Herro can be helpful and would be needed. Do I consider him untouchable or an elite player? No and No. But acting like all of this has been possible because Herro is out as a fact is silly. We were winning the one game he played and he also played well in that game.

Can’t come lazy like this ever again. I hope they feel bad about themselves. Lowry and Bam eith 4 TO each.
And 4 rebounds to our all defense big man? WTF

I can honestly forgive high turnovers when you're in a tough game like this, but the timing of their turnovers seemed like back breakers every time. The fast break where Lowry just threw it behind him instead of dumping it off to a wide open Jimmy trailing him was a dagger FOR Boston. And then the play where Bam just dribbled and threw it into Marcus Smart's hands was a common Bam thing but at the worst moment.

Agree. Seems like it's been a while since Bam had a "clumsy" game like this.
