This Suns owner is spending like a drunkard...he will be begging to unload that Beal contract in a couple years.

Guys stop saying it’s the heats fault, shams is reporting that Beal only waives his ntc for phx, we didn’t have a choice and in my personal opinion Beal saved us from ourselves, this isn’t 2020-21 Beal and his contract is disgusting

This room been screaming bloody Mary for two years about a 18 mill dollar player. You shouldn't be surprised this room has a heart attack about a 40 mill dollar player. They are still on the early 2010s salary expectations.VaDe255 wrote:RexBoyWonder wrote:Listen, Beal really isn't that great of player.
And his contract is gross.
And apparently he's an uncompetitive loser as well.
The only problem is - he's much more helpful then Duncan + Dipo + Lowry.
So...WHO ELSE CAN WE GET FOR OUR POO POO PLATER?! We do have picks, and Herro.
Stop it already with the Beal slander.
They don't hand out max contracts just because they like the players name. He is one of the top offensive guards in the league and the Heat really needed exactly that type of player.
I'm still shocked at the decision to low ball, even if you "overpaid" with one more FRP/Jovic or whatever. It would have still been worth it.
It's depressing at this point to watch the same team run it back year after year and fail at the end, because they clearly don't have enough and are overperforming already.

dean456 wrote:Miami definitely got greedy and wanted to get Beal without giving up any assets that could be used to get Lillard too. That's the only way I can see us not winning that trade. If that's the case then that is so shortsighted. It's either home run or nothing for the FO and its getting unbearable.
Oh Pat definitely had Dame/Beal backcourt dreams. 0-1 right now, get the super elite one and all is forgiven

Worst part is Jordan sold CHA so depending on them not to pull a CHA and draft Miller at #2 becoming less and less likely....

Why does that matter, Miami doesn't have a true PG.
Lowry has been a true PG all his life and Vincent transformed himself from a combo guard to a very capable PG when he was called upon. This team is a disaster when having to rely on Herro running the point.
Lowry would have been in the trade so he wouldn't be with Beal in Miami. Vincent is a combo guard and doesn't create for others and is highly replaceable at a low price.

He has to do whatever it takes to generate views to his stories. Miami had their shot at a high level player and )#($) the bed. If Washington wanted that offer from Phoenix they would have taken it yesterday, they were looking to get a little more from either team Beal was ok going to.
No need to worry, Strus will walk and D.Robinson who's making 17 million dollars a year and who was knocked out of the rotation by a vet minimum guy will be back to jacking up 3s for Miami next year!

Would still be a great offseason if we get Porzingis imo!

I’m getting annoyed by this whole coaching situation and front office.
Theres 29 of us other fanbases that would take him in a heartbeat.

I’m annoyed that Spo doesn’t play rookies like that and he does make boneheaded moves every now and then but I get it he isn’t perfect. Overall he’s been great though.

I'm out.
This front office better have a plan B, because they're about to have 2 embarrassing offseason in a row - failing Bam and Jimmy and Spo and us fans yet again.

I would have been enjoying Beal on this team next year. Him and Zinger. Oh baby. Would have been good.
Just got to nail our draft pick and get some vet big men. Not exactly running it back but thats what it is.

The Suns are essentially screwed if they don't win with this core (which I don't think they will). They are headed towards the 2nd apron and at that point it literally does not matter how much money their owner is cool with spending.

Not if he just walks next summer because of tax concerns.

They can try it out this year and if it doesn't work.. GET A TON FROM A KD TRADE! They're in a great situation. KD still has 3 years left on his contract, he's always wanted by teams.

The one move I really didnt like was paying Lowry mega bucks. Nows hes a big expiring and could serve us well mid season.
