Naw. Would rather have Cousins. Barnes is not a first option and without Cousins we would not have one on the team. Plus this move would cause us to absolutely need to move Gay and we aren't getting a first option for him either.

I guess it depends on the conditions applied to the pick. Jeez, putting conditions on the pick in case, Klay, Green, Curry and DMC are in a plane crash or something but no I wouldn't do that deal.

Barnes is a UFA this summer, Bogut is a UFA after next season and the "conditional 1st Round Pick" part of the deal? Are you serious?

Terrible offer.

If you comes here with a low ball offer again, you will be warned for trolling.

Burks is a walking injury, Gay is not. And Rudy is a better player. Pass instantly.

Is Rudy really the better player tho? Gay is on his decline while Burks has tons of potential. Sure he's had a rough go but it's possible he can put it all together.

Advanced stats aren't too kind to Burks, and at this point I'd question if he's worth his contract. But I do like the idea of moving back a little and acquiring another piece, and the quantity of available SGs might lend you to take chance on something.. Maybe another variation might seem more palatable

If the Kings are to keep their pick 1 of Dunn or Hield should be available if we keep the pick I expect us to land one of them .

That said everything I here is geared to us trading our pick .
Way to many teams inquiring to go deep into anything because it goes from us trading up to trading down as well as getting a big named vet .

I can say we have had light talks about P. George to name one vet .
We have possibilities with all of the 76ers , Lakers & Celtics as well . No talks really with the Suns to this date in regards to moving up .
I am leaning towards us " not " moving up but it is way to early .

We have talks with the Bulls about Rose & gaining our future pick back were we move down this draft and they move up to our # 8 pick as compensation . In this scenerio we would move at least 2 of the following 4 players . Koufas , Marco , Gay & Mac in that deal .

So many possible options and these are just some .

Cuz is wanted by everybody
Gay draws most interest from Boston , Lakers , Bulls , Pelicans , Clippers
Mac Bulls , Cavs , Boston
Marco equals many teams though his year was bad he is a shooter & teams hold him still in high regard for this reason plus his contract is very friendly & rumor is teams see the turmoil the Kings were in last season as the main reason for his off year he is worth the risk to most teams looking for a shooter .
Koufas most interest comes from the Bulls , Raptors and Pacers

dozencousins back!

PG though huh? I don't see any scenario where we get him without it involving Cousins and I just don't see Indiana trading him at this point.

I hope there's still a possibility of a move centered around Mac for Shump though, especially if we were to land Dunn. So we're looking to trade up more than looking to trade down?

Who do you think moves up if one of those guys are available? Chriss, Poeltl or D Davis is who I would think. Maybe Sabonis. I think if Dunn is available, we keep pick. Hield I like but to a lesser degree so I could see us moving down and getting a vet. Anyone else, we trade away and get some talent in return.

I say we keep Marco and see what he can do around a structured offense. Like you said, team friendly deal so no reason to take 20 cents on the dollar for him

Yah between the two it is more likely Hield is the one available at the # 8 . Dunn is very possible to be available as well as based on the current draft order if it stayed as is the only other team with the top 8 picks that has any real need for a point guard is the Pelicans . 76ers could use him but will not take him with the 1st pick . Lakers , Celtics , Suns , Wolves & Nuggets do not need him all have 1 or more either solid point guards or in the suns case Bledsoe & Knight 2 x long contracts at that position they are likely drafting a power forward or center . Lakers Russell & Clarkson , Celtics Thomas & Bradley . Wolves have Rubio whom is playing well with the current roster no need to mess that up & Nuggets just drafted Mudiay last season doubt they go back to back point guards .
If a team trades up int he draft then I could see Dunn off the board before us if not I am very confident Dunn or Hield will be their for the taking if we keep our 8 pick .

Trade Idea Thread 15-16

Post#937 » by Jkam31 » Mon May 30, 2016 6:21 am

Bird loved WCS however Monday would beat LA deal of 2/Randle and Nance

I don't know how I feel about Rose... I can see him being a 18-7 guy who I'd take over Gay but with the remaining cap we'd need to get Courtney Lee and Anderson. I just don't want to give Rose a deal after this year for 3-4 years

Sent from my iPhone using RealGM Forums

We'd have about 22 mill left if we did Ben/Gay/8 for Rose.. Throw 18mill at Bazemore and 4mill at Barnes. That's the making of a great defense for us

Rose is shot. He's a shell of his former self. Do not want.

Rose was one of the worst players in the league last season. If Bulls could sit him, they would probably be in play-offs. But Bulls, now without any center on payroll, can get KK for Mirotic. Kings might even throw in this year's pick exchange.

Agreed. Chicago fans think #14 in this year's draft will replace Rose. Let that sink in.
