Lavar set up his lemonade stand and sold out to you.

Can you make a list of this "bunch of idiots? Because to me it looks like it includes a lot of people and organizations. ESPN, NBA, 763 analysts...

So many people now are claiming that they knew it and it was obvious that Lonzo was not a top prospect. We don't even know that yet, he might turn out to be pretty damn good in the end.

Lots of people claimed hes a bust waiting to happen, but others just dissmissed it as BBB hate bandwagon.

I don't know, I don't really watch much college basketball but something I do remember is coming in here and reading from at least a few people that they were very concerned about his ability to score in the half court outside of finishing alley oops or shooting threes, he wasn't doing scoring in the half court. Obviously the awkward shooting mechanics were a popular subject as well, it was clear then that he would struggle to shoot off the dribble going to his right.

Yeah but lots of people claim ANYTHING these days. You have lots of people claiming the Earth is flat. Imagine ANY claim you want and you will find people who believe it to be true.

My point is that hype was being created at the highest levels, not just among 5 fanboys on this forum, and the level of hype created would decide whether Lonzo would be considered a bust or not. Unfortunately for Lonzo the expectation is high and the pressure is on.

UCLA are 6-1 this season.

Lonzo Ball without taking credit for teams wins and other players performances was always just a 14-7 guy.

His stats were pretty great in college in things like WS and BPM. Analytics guys loved him.

One of my takeaways is UCLA system was so weird compared to pro ball that it becomes harder to use the stats. It's closest thing you'll get to college football QB prospect who plays in the gimmick system.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Easy tiger, they’re still playing cupcakes.

Edit for posterity: UCLA went 15-11 the rest of the season and lost in an NCAA tournament play-in game.
