I, for one, have no shame about my only contribution to this thread.

And most importantly his last name had a mechanical ring to it, like some obscure car part you'd need to keep your old Fiat running

I always thought of him as a species of bear. The Doleac Bear. Native to portions of Siberia and Mongolia and thought to be a close relative of the North American Grizzly.

I mean he's going to be the closet thing to David Lee we've seen in quite some time with maybe better man to man defense and less assists.

I called DLee a double double machine and possible all star in his rookie season and was laughed at but even he wasn't as offensively skilled as Randle, either. I saw some post saying he's one a handful of players who had 21ppg, 8rpg and 3apg last season along with LeBron, AD, Giannis.

Just get him to play some defense and maybe he'll be a keeper.

Thibs figured out how to get him to play defense and now he's a keeper....

I don't know how even the biggest Randle hater coming into this year could look at what Randle did this year and not want to keep him around. Randle did is thing this year and balled out.

Randle joins two of my kings. The only logical conclusion is that he has become a king himself :o

Amazing season by Julius.

While the Knicks will need his shotmaking in the 4th, I hope he realizes that his playmaking is his biggest asset and that he uses it down the stretch in the playoffs (his scoring efficiency is actually slightly below league-average). His ability to find Bullock, RJ, Burks, IQ is what makes this offense go from average to good.

So it will be interesting to see if he can strike the right balance between scoring and playmaking as the Knicks run their offense through him in the last 5 minutes of these games. It's his first playoff appearance, so I don't expect him to be perfect.

in our defense, randle's first year made the deal look atrocious.

this year, because he's played like a completely different play, the knicks look like they got a steal in randle.

Knicks fans will never learn. Most of you love to jump out the window with your predictions, then years later you go and dig up old threads to see who was right or wrong. It's so cringe lol. Accept the fact that we're fans - not experts or time travelers - and just enjoy the sport.

Lol, Bird averaging 10 boards per game against toughest mothafakas in 80's with close to zero 3 shooting and cheap long rebounds and people claim that LeBron will be too much for him to handle physically.

Get Julius his money. He'll most likely end up top 5 Knick in the history.

How are you even allowed in tha forums with the thread you made praising Dolan?

That was some abused wife praising the husband type deal and embarrassed the entire Knicks fanbase on realgm.

We owe this season to Randles dedication to improving, Noel and Gibson covering for Robinsons injury, RJ, Quickley, Burks, Bullock all improving...Rose solidifying our bench. Good coaching. Dolan not only been a cancer to NYK but NYC in general. His blunders and lack of ambition have caused us decades of waste. You took away credit from men who built this winning franchise for some smuck who inherited wealth with zero talent or a brain.

I will happily eat my crow and was wrong on Randle. Never thought he would be an allstar and this good. It has been amazing season so far. Much respect to Randle for putting in all that work and taking his game to the next level.

This was well said. I agree with it completely. I never ever took any credit away from any of those guys. In fact, I responded to many posts in that thread saying the same thing.

Anywho- I don't see how I've embarrassed the entire Knicks fanbase with what I said. That's a bit dramatic. I'm my own man and I speak for myself. You can do the same. We're all anonymous here anyway, and the thread was purposely provocative in an obvious way. I had fun doing it. I'm sorry it triggered you, Dicky.

This thread was made before he even played a game as a Knick. You can't use that as an excuse.

this is what did it for me, with randle. dude put in the work, and changed his game for the better of the team/franchise; what resulted was an unlikely all-star selection, and the fourth seed in the east.

knicks have been needing a guy like randle for far too long.
