Ziaire Williams is now 24th on ESPN's big board

was really high on him, but went back and looked at the last 10 drafts and no player w/ a -.2 BPM turned into a significant player

I definitely see that on the scoring side, but I didn't see much play making...don't get me wrong ,Id still be more than happy to have him.

Yeah I was speaking from just a scoring standpoint

Ok gotcha,...

I can't watch Jalen Suggs without getting a tear in my eye. Dude is going to be an all time great. He's the definition of a player that knows how to make all the right plays at the end of a game to lead his team to win. On D he's probing for steals and blocks. And on Offense you just know his late shots are falling.

And I can guarantee you this.. if he does go to Minnesota they aren't going to suck anymore. I promise you. He will turn them into a winning team in his first couple of years.

And Suggs in NBA space? hahaha.. good luck folks.

I'll give my little Jalen Green scouting report also. He's going to be a late bloomer physically but he's going to be an absolute stud also. His wingspan and jumping ability will make him an automatic bucket at the next level because of his potential to shoot the ball good from deep.

I haven’t seen him play often but has his injury been part of the problem?

Just a guy I saw in our range on the Tankathon mocks so I figured I’d post his good game here

Not an efficient player. Yeah he can give you 20 but he’ll shoot a whole bunch of attempts to get there. I do like his FT% though.

I don’t really see anything more than a scoring spark off the bench

Kinda looks slow to me just based on that video. Probably not gonna get to the rim a lot but maybe he can replace Bullock? The late first round doesn’t seem as good as last years draft. Things kinda seem to dramatically fall off after the late lottery. Not really a ton of interesting guys outside of Jared Butler that are mocked in the teens. Granted maybe tankathon’s mock isn’t that great and we’re missing something but I’m kinda leaning towards trading one of our picks.

He’s going to have to be more of a team player and better defender if he wants to start in the NBA imo. His strengths are actually what you’d like from a guard in today’s NBA . (catch and shoot upside, scores off the dribble, gets to the line and converts on FTs at a high percentage) but on the flip side he has cons that can easily hinder him from being a starter (undersized Sg, subpar passing skills, plays hero ball, settles for bad shots, lack of defense intensity)

I wouldn’t mind taking him with one of the 1st though taking into consideration Knicks need another scorer other than Randle and he’s one of the best scorers in the draft and only 19. Could be a good investment for the Knicks. I don’t hate the idea of grabbing him

I agree after the late lottery the wheels kind of fall off In the draft but I think you can still get a good player.
Dosumno, Greg brown, Thomas, butler are not bad names... would not be shocked if the Knicks did some extra homework on Boston jr either.

I’m really liking bennedict mathurin in the 2nd round. (If he enters)

Don't worry. The Knicks will be standing there with two picks, ready to strike, right after the talent level falls off a cliff.

Almost forgot about Tre Mann. Been on my radar for a minute now. He’s a nice shot creating guard that’s also gonna be in our range.

I love the Davion Mitchell pick. I'd pass on BJ Boston though. I know people gonna come at me for this but I think he's a lot like Cam Reddish. I mean 36% from the field and 30% from 3 is just extremely bad. Give me Ayo Dosunmo over him.

As the college seasons moves along guys that I've so far one guy that has been really impressive is Duke's Mark Williams. A long, strong, springy, athletic, aggressive 7 footer with a 7'4" wingspan. He just came off a 23 point 19 rebound beast of a performance against my team Louisville. But's it's really not just the box score or overall stats (since those can be skewed), what I like about him is that he reacts real quick, agile with nice hands, has a frame that can easily get even stronger, very aggressive and shows an excellent feel. Things that should translate well to the next level. If the Knicks feel that they may not be able to afford Robinson or don't want to entrust Robinson with a big chunk of change a guy like Williams would be an interesting alternative. With one of their 3 picks perhaps?

But to be realistic with where we are rn there’s a good chance we could end up with Zaire & bj Boston.

That would be pretty good imo!!!!
