Asensio should’ve put the game to bed.

I can’t put my finger on it but I’m not convinced by Spain, I think they’ll go quite far in the WC but there’s something about them that’s making me feel like this. I think France might be the best team in the comp so far, however I’m enjoying this World Cup. It feels like almost any nation can win their games, other that a few matches most of the games have been pretty good.

Germany was very close to losing.

Spain has moments where you can see why people can get behind them.

It will be interesting what happens in the final games.

If you say so. It seems like the group stages are on course to produce no ko upsets. I wish these phases were just replaced with more ko's, especially in light of the last 30 minutes of games like England vs USA where for the last 20 minutes both played for the draw due to the result of the other fixture.

glimmer of hope for a German system that is now devoid of talent, this team is a far cry from previous iterations of German teams. not sure what happened but Germany is in a lot of trouble moving forward.

also Spain on a lesser level, not nearly as much talent as they had back in the early 10s.

Lol at the US soccer federation changing the Iranian flag. What a bunch of jackasses. Let's show support for women by changing a different countries flag. Idgits.

the amount of disrespect these holier than thou westerners have been showing the Islamic world these last few weeks won't be forgotten, i'll tell u that

I didn’t even know they done this, I saw the tweet which showed the post seems like a lot of Iranians supporting it in the comments.

Oh for sure, I get lots of Iranians supporting it. We have a massive Persian population in Toronto and I support them and loathe the oppressive regime.

But as another countries sporting organisation you still don't **** around with someone else's flag. And the arrogance of doing that, damn.

The best team I’ve seen thus far is Brazil. They looked amazing against Serbia a very good team.

Almost all Iranians call the current emblem non Iranian. Most I’ve encountered say the real emblem Is the lion and the sword. The disdain for this regime from the majority inside and outside the country is extraordinarily high
