Also, is Doc Rivers our new coach or no? I've read conflicting reports.

I am definitely not on Team Rivers.

I'm most curious to see the inventive ways Daver can misspell "Doc".

Cod, Dok, Coach Dog? I'm ready.

Another Q: why did Stotts get off the sinking ship early on? I mean if this was going down in flames the way he thought it would, why wouldn't he stay on as assistant and put himself in prime position to take over when the **** inevitably hit the fan?

Epi, explain yourself.

Doesn't mean Griffin took any of the advice.

Hopefully not. Because we don't need to repeat the last few weeks in particular.

Dude better ball out and fall in line for whoever they bring in or it’s not going to be a good look. Time to set some screens and start joining the team during timeouts.

Its called a slip screen. That's the play being run.

You guys think Giannis won't set a full body screen but he'll risk tearing his ACL to win Chip?

GTFO here.

This firing was overdue despite the optics. Hiring a rookie HC for this team with an aging core and championship or bust aspirations never made sense to me. The whole Stotts ordeal proved this was a disaster from Day 1. At least Horst was smart enough to acknowledge the mistake sooner than later.

This is the same organization that hired a fedex manager after their main guy bailed right

Persistent rumors that the equipment manager has not been performing up to standard continue to bedevil the organization.

Let's all be honest too: player and coach movement will always be more exciting/interesting than actual NBA games.

Well that's why modern NBA fandom is about arguing on twitter about players you never watched and **** on every current player based on rings.

So like what's gonna be the assistant coaching situation? Is Doc gonna be able to bring in some of his guys? Dave Joerger would be a pretty good get.

Joerger is the obvious one. Maybe Rex Kalamian, he's currently a Pro Player Personnel Scout for Brooklyn. He was a hot name for a minute as a head coach candidate on the rise.

I don't get much inside the NBA info, but I was told recently that people around the league thought the Bucks owners did Bud dirty and that maybe played into who they hired over the summer. Maybe some big heads after the title.

I have no idea if the Bucks just reached out with Doc today or a week ago or whatever. But I do know the front office (and players) was desperate to get Griffin out of there, period. Couldn't wait any longer. If that meant Prunty taking over for a week, then so be it. Addition by subtraction.

If anyone believes the Bucks only brought up the head coaching role for the first time today to a guy they hired to consult the under water head coach they are, no offense, an idiot.
