Contract will run through years 34, 35, 36, 37;
Tatum is up for a $60m/yr extension along with browns own
They have some relief in zinger is under control for a years.
But yeah, $165m for brown, Tatum and holiday. Crazy times we live in.

Re: Around The League
Yeah, that’s a lot for him. Locks in at least another year or two as minimum as their window with white as an FA next summer, who would likely get a bigger deal given his play. KP has 2 more years and Al will be 40 by then.

Re: Around The League
Yeah good for him. Lot of money for him and it bets on him aging well, but the way he's used on that team it feels like he could sustain a similar role through the contract. They basically just need him to be an elite 3&D; they don't need him to take any scoring load really.

A bit of a Mavs sceptic, but damn have they been looking good lately. Torching the Heat in Miami atm.

Re: Around The League
Jrue deciding to play and not retire after his contract like he said last year is irrelevant to us... we didn't have the draft capital to pair GA with a superstar without giving up effective starters so he had to be the one to go (km wasn't eligible til Jan to trade)... if we don't win it this year then we just have to retool, find and/or develop solid starters that can 3 and D.. which are easier to get then a different superstar would

Trae returns, Hawks blow 18 point lead, lose to Charlotte at home.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Wow that's a terrible contract for Boston. Really surprised they made that big of a mistake.

Re: Around The League
Miami in the play-in again and potentially a first round matchup is scary, but big difference is last year Jimmy was already turning up and showing superstar level from like February onwards, but especially March forward. Last month of the reg season he was at 27/5/6 on 71% TS (60/40/80 splits lol). Looking back, him going berserk in the playoffs makes sense.
This season, in that same March-April span of a month, he’s at 18/5/5 on 59% TS. This isn’t even close to the dude last year that stuffed Jrue into a locker. He actually looks like he’s lost a step now.

I purposely don't watch Charlotte play but Brandon Miller looks like a nice pick for them.

I can't believe so many people on here took Jrues comments at face value. Guy was in line for a 9-figure extension and people thought he would walk away at age 34?

Minnesota v Denver for... Almost the one seed tonight.

Minnesota has played very well since KAT went down.

I'm not gonna bash Boston but everyone has to admit... if we gave him that contract most fans would be complaining that the Bucks overpaid, including Bucks fans

If Boston doesn't win this year then it will be often talked about as one of the worst contracts in the league, we will have to wait and see.
Happy for Jrue regardless. This is dope because Jrue gets paid and he gives Celtics a really bad contract in the process

Re: Around The League
I'm all for dumping on Boston but it was the same deal as us with Khris and Brook. So what, you just let him walk in free agency? They were never giving up what they did just for a one-year rental. Good for Jrue, I'm just glad we have Dame instead.
