I sense a change in Jerry now since we lost to SF.I think he is listening to Mccarthy more...in other words, listening to the coach of this team more.I guess Jerry is learning that not just anyone can coach this team to a SB.Amazing ...the arrogance by Jerry :wavefinger:

It was wishful thinking on my part, after i heard a report that Jerry was gonna let MM be the O.C. but that turned out to be a false report because they got Schott.. which is also a good decision.Looking like Kellen Moore, and Dak had some minor issues, and different offensive views, but Kellen, and Cooper were on the same page.

Not that I was against getting rid of Moore, but here we go again. Another issue involving Dak, So Moore is let go. Nothing can ever be Dak's fault. Let's keep making excuses for Dak. Onward through the fog.

From what I heard the issue was actually between MM and Kellen Moore. MM is a West Coast offense guy. So some of their offensive philosophy’s didn’t jive. I’d expect to see A LOT more screen passes, slants, and drag routes.

Do you guys really expect the Cowboy's offense to be better with McCarthy, Dumb Dak and possibly Zeke Manziel coming back next season?

Honestly this is what I expect to see based on his time in Green Bay. I expect we will get away from the run. We will see a ton more screen passes, quick slants, and drag routes. Possibly more bubble screens too.

We likely will see no more comeback routes and not a lot of deep passes.

If that's the case then why bring back Zeke and spend any immediate resources at the RB position. Seems like a good area to clear some cap space.

For the first time in about 27 years, I love everything the Cowboys have done so far in FA and the restructure process except for one deal. Someone please pinch me, I must be dreaming. Feels like McClay and Dan Quinn are spear heading all of this.

That’s definitely what it seems like. I just wish they would bring back Hankins and find a way to sign Bobby Wagner. I’m very happy with what they’ve done so far though.

I have the feeling the Cowboys are up to something and have more in mind. Probably the draft they make some kind of splash.

Yea it still feels like there is another move coming. They resigned Dante Fowler but still have quite a bit of cap room left.

Drafting Cooks changes the thinking about throwing over the top on defenses. :eyebrows:

Saw and read an encouraging article this morning. LVE recently stated this past week what Dan Quinn has brought to the Cowboys. "The vibe, the energy, the leadership and his culture that he has instilled in the defense has made a huge difference the past 3 years." "All these attributes that Quinn carries with him are contagious and you just want to be around him." Apparently, Dan Quinn staying and signing here when he had a chance to go with other offers, couldn't have been more important to all the guys and how they feel about him today. LVE said it proved how much he cared.

Unless this team gets to the NFC Championship Game I fully expect this to be MM’s last season coaching the Cowboys. And when that happens Dan Quinn will be the next HC of this team.

Dan Quinn the next head coach is a very good thing. That will only leave us with one weakness, the QB position. Where do we go from here? We can only go so far with dumb Dak. Is Tom Brady still on speed dial somewhere?

Brady wants to go to Miami. As for the Cowboys they have a decision coming up within the next year or two. Do they move on from Dak or do they make him the highest paid player in NFL history. I think you already know what I would do.

I knew it, you have blacked out Brady's last game where Dak completely obliterated him because it was too much for your brain to handle

Peyton and Dak at the same spot in their careers.

I know Dak is not Peyon, I am not claiming that he is better than Peyton. But Peyton didn't get a ring until he was in his 9th season and that should give some perspective to Dak haters like BJJ.

:falloff: Not exactly. I was bored today and its been so dead in here I thought I would blow a fart towards your Boy today just to bring you out of the wood work. I just wonder where all the excuses will come from next now that FA and the draft is over and the remaining weak links on this team are now Dak and MM. No more excuses for either one now. Hopefully this is the last year we have to listen to numb nuts say, "its my fault, I got to get better and I need to make better reads and handle pressure better".

That's because Manning never had a defense till he got to Denver. Manning had to do it all his stay with the Colts. The whole franchise was on his shoulders the whole time. We know for a fact Dak can't put anything on his shoulders or carry nothing. He doesn't make others around him better. Its been the other way around with Dumb Dak.

Return to Dallas Cowboys
