Good trade. Could add Chandler to Cavs, Hill to Suns, Clarkson staying. Hill fits great next to Booker and provides veteran leadership to a young team

Around the NBA 10

Post#943 » by TheKingofSting » Sun Jul 1, 2018 3:12 pm

Denver is trying to get a meeting with LeBron now.

It's hard to believe LeBron would go to the LAL to babysit, he already called Cleveland players' dumb and they don't have the money or assets to improve anyway. It's hard to believe but last night / early this morning The Best Player in the World seemed left out in the cold but FA is fluid. I also heard that Bron reportedly wants to hear from Philly on how he and Embiid would fit together.

Houston losing Ariza is a big blow to what defense they had, I'm not sure how you fix that and they were so close to an NBA Title if CP3 hadn't slipped and gotten injured!

Yeah I like that better for both teams. It also forces Sexton into the action for the rebuilding Cavs.

Sexton
Clarkson
Warren
Bender
Osman

That team is thin on talent. It's rough.

Los Angeles better hope they can sign Cousins and trade for Leonard. ESPN reported on tv last night that the Spurs wanted LAL to basically empty the cupboard for Leonard and the Lakers haven't budged yet. It will be hilarious if the Spurs wait too long and lose Leonard for nothing in free agency.

It would be so fcking awesome if LeBron signed with Denver. It's not going to happen, but that would be the first LeBron team that I would actually root for. The ideal offseason: PG resigns with OKC, LeBron signs with Denver, Kawhi goes to Philly, and the Lakers get the high-hat. **** the Lakers I hope they end up with DeMarcus Cousins and Tyreke Evans.

Sixers are currently his best shot to reach the Finals. If he stays on the Cavs, either the Sixers or Celtics can oust him and his aging Cavs. Kyrie was hurt plus Hayward and Philly was inexperienced. Both Celtics and Sixers are stocked with players getting better while LeBron and his cast get worse. No way will MJ bail out this little superteam sissy by gifting him Kemba. Sexton is going to be good, but the team will be unwatchable on TV and the arena will be empty for like 4 years while Sexton is groomed to become his successor, and he could bust. Sorry LeBron, you don't get MJ's gem.

Sixers think they can get Kawhi. All it takes is for the Spurs to really like Fultz as a headliner. They certainly didn't like Lonzo.

They could always send Fultz to a 3rd team

If the Spurs don't want Fultz I wouldn't want him either.

I would, maybe they are looking for more of the win now players since they still have LMA, Gay, Manu, Green, and th he rest of their vets. Pop is close to retirement and may not want to rebuild

I don't want Fultz regardless of what the Spurs think of him

Fultz would probably be okay here if he has the yips. They'll be no expectations.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

Per that story Sixers trying to deal for Kawhi. Quoting: “The 76ers could build a package around Robert Covington, Dario Saric and future picks.” What if they couldn’t pull that off? Would they come back to us and put Fultz in play? If it meant gettin LBJ...of course.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Saric is the sure thing. Fultz means nothing to me without one young proven player in return. Same with Sexton.

I feel like I know the answer already, but if the Spurs can't get a Leonard trade to the mentioned favorites (PHI, LAL, BOS) could we possibly offer something to SAS that excludes Kemba, Monk & Bridges? Perhaps something centered around Lamb, Marv/MKG/Bacon/Frank + future 1st rounders w/ maybe top-5 protection??

Doesn't make sense now, but if they lose leverage....say after LBJ and Cousins go elsewhere? Saric and Covington are good, but not elite talents to build around. No way Leonard can suit up for the Spurs, so maybe the leverage shifts and we can keep our core of Kemba, Monk and Bridges.
