What a ridiculous article. So no news AT ALL in there, but let’s make a headline so people keep talking about it. Smh.

Crazy how much and how hard the media is pushing trying to get AD to the lakers. They do this every year with stars but now with lebrons trash azz there, it is even worse. So annoying.

Dell Demps needs to get out in front of this and start offering him up. They failed to properly build around a crown jewel, and they are just going to have to eat it and move forward. Don't wait until he declines the super max this summer, and end up getting pennies on the dollar. Because that's certainly what's going to happen.

Ehhh, it didn’t say anyone, just those close to him. I’m sure he told someone since “dead set” appears to be a direct quote.

if pels are smart they'll ask for rondo, hart, kcp , zubac & a couple 1st round picks as a starting return haul for AD, as the rest of the lakers kids havent really shown enough to be legit trade fodder, they get back that playoff stalwart in rondo, a big in zubac and two good wing defenders, the picks will just be icing on the cake

If he's dead set on playing for the Lakers, let him prove it by walking away from about $100 million to play for them. Don't trade for the Lakers trash, and late first rounders.

The Lakers trash just housed GS at home. And getting anything back is better than losing a FA of Davis' caliber for nothing.

And the expansion Raptors beat the 72-10 Bulls. Who gives a ****. All the Lakers young guys and has beens are TRASH. We're better off letting him walk.

the salt....
if boston doesnt offer Tatum, their offers are slightly (if that) better because of picks(those MEM, LAC, SAC picks dont look to be anywhere near the top #3 like people expected)
Im biased but Ingram, Kuz, Hart, Wagner, Zubac/SVI, KCP and 3 FRP is better than
jaylen brown, rozier (a FA) and 3 picks in the 2019 draft(none of them looking to be in the top 10 right now)
however, tatum plus picks is too good of an offer to beat.

youre so angry. You want your star players to stay, then start a petition to have the franchise move to a better city. The fact that he is ready to walk away from 100M extra shows how trash the franchise has been run and how weak of basketball city NO is. Move them to seattle, and i bet AD doesnt leave.

So he hasn't told the people close to him. So is he like shouting it at random fans or a random passer-by?

If he wants to leave, that's fine, he's free to do as he wants when he's a free agent. I just don't want to give him away for the Lakers junk pile. Other teams will offer far better, but if he makes his intentions as Lakers only, let him walk.
I'll still root for his success, even on the Lakers. He's a great guy, and an amazing player. I just don't want their scrubs here.

He'd be better off waiting until the summer because then the celtics can then offer him and get a bidding war. My value might be off but teams should offer the following for davis
Lakers: Ingram, Ball, Kuzma, and picks
Celtics: Tatum, Horford, and picks
76ers: Simmons , anyone else they want other than embiid and butler, and picks
Warriors: Draymond, Klay, and picks
Bulls: Jabari, Felicio, Cam Payne, and one 2nd rounder

oh i agree, teams like phx or even denver can offer better than the lakers. but they would be taking a HUGE risk if AD doesnt stay. Say phoenix offers ayton, jackson and some FRP, AD leaving after a year would cripple them, Say denver offers Murray, Juancho, porter jr for AD, and AD leaves them they would be left a decent team but no where near a contender

that warriors offer is a tad funny because both of them are having terrible seasons by their standards and klay is a free agent at years end, warriors would have to give up one of they're other two aces and im sure they're untouchable if you ask bob myers
and the hypothetical bulls offer is arguably actual bull***t with the one 2nd rounder included when you think houston tried to give 4 1st for jimmy butler earlier this seaon

Tatum might have the most potential to be a superstar one day, but I'd rather take a package that includes Kuz AND Ingram.
I'm not even sure Tatum is that much better than Kuz at this point. He had a phenomenal playoff run, but their numbers are fairly comparable.
I like Kuz next to Lebron, but there is no doubt any deal for AD will involve Kuzma. The guy is a legit starter on a 3 year 5 mil contract.
