Spo didn't hold him out for no reason.. he doesn't miraculously know when a player is injured. Butler for sure complained about an injury, when then lead him to missing the Bucks game.
So according to some, Spo would sit Butler for no reason to play the tougher side of the bracket. And Jimmy Butler is just gonna sit there meekly and accept it. Apparently Spo is an absolute moron and Butler is a wuss.
Like in what world does that make any sense to anyone.

Just posting anything at this point and the fact that they actually think that’s a tiny bit true is mind boggling.

They’re in the gutter for a reason, homie.
It’s been a wild ride of a season. We can’t change the past, so beat whoever they put in front of us.

the bearded one will give us several frontholes if this match up happens. i'd rather have some other team to beat them before us or to wear them down for the heat to have a winning chanceRRR3 wrote:Also you guys stop saying “if Jimmy was injured” we all know he’s perfectly fine lmao. Spo is arrogant enough to think he can beat the Bucks but too stupid to realize that means Nets round 2 and if things break a certain way tonight, it actually means Nets round 1.

The fact we are just not talented enough to be in that elite category that can get to the finals year after year. But because of toughness, great coaching and everything going right for us last season we were able to get the finals. The probability of that happening two seasons in a row is pretty low. Whether we loose in 1st or 2nd, we were unlikely to get to the finals again.
Because of what happened last season I give them a pass for this season. But onus is on Riley to somehow find that guy. If we can't then we'll be relying again on everything breaking right to get to the finals. But in reality it never does. We need to be able to have enough talent to matchup with anyone. The top teams upgraded their talent, Heat did not.

Bucks vs Heat are near the end of the podcast.
They feel the will get blown out in game one, Heat come back and basically punch the Bucks in the mouth and Milwaukee isn't the same after that.
The picks on the podcast.
1 pick - Bucks in 6
2 pick - Heat in 6
1 pick - Heat in 7

Feel like we did ourselves a disservice with some bad coaching and bad loses, we should've been the 4 seed and facing the Knicks/Hawks with home court advantage.
After wining that series we would have face the Sixers coming in with positive momentum and we would have beaten them too.
Then in Eastern finals anything could have happened.
Instead we're facing the Bucks who are the best or second best team in the first round, and even if we beat then we're facing the Nets next. We **** up with those chit regular season loses to Clippers/Hawks/GSW.

Pretty much Rex. If we lose round 1, only got ourselves to blame. No way should we be a 6 seed, but it is what it is. Just win.

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

in my opinion the heat should leave this hot potato to others to deal with.

Oladipo shouldn't be a top 5 priority for Mia this offseason.
If he's offended or finds a solid offer, happy trails. (maybe do a sign n trade if the opportunity presents itself)

Copypasta from my post in the GB thread:
If it was indeed the same quad tendon, I'd just like to know what the hell kind of rehab did he do after the 2019 injury and who was overseeing it. Seems like it never fully healed properly and he's been playing compromised this entire time, he literally went down after his first full-exertion explosive movement in a Heat uniform

Damaged goods, like many of us suspected, and if Miami did not know the truth, the league should force Houston to send pick compensation.

I remember 11-30 with these guys. ^

Just the kick in the ass Bam needed being left out of the top in DPOY voting. All that passiveness coming to bite him with award season. Good fuel for the playoffs.

Everything I said about Victor Oladipo was true, he is damaged goods. I received a lot of heat and even personal attacks for this. I even said that anyone who is betting the future of the Miami Heat on Victor's health must be crazy. I understand that we acquired Oladipo at a very low price and closing that deal was the right thing to do. Victor is a good human being and I only wish him the best. Victor Oladipo could miss all of next season and if there is any hope for his future health, we could offer a 1-year contract for the minimum so that we can retain his Bird-Rights.
