Yeah, this isn’t a movie as the trade is happening a few days from today. It’ll be Butler for Beal, Dunn, & picks. The writing is on the wall and Ishbia is about to make a huge splash.

I doubt it, heat have lost all their leverage. Also even if they hadn’t I doubt we trade Dunn.SunsRback4Good wrote:

We are getting butler and then whatever warm corpse we get for nurks cold one. Would like to see Royce traded/upgraded but that’s probably asking for too much.

Can't be. No aggregation. It'll be Beal and picks and that's it.

It'll be Beal and 2 1st for Butler.
Nurkic and our last 1st for Kelly Olynyk and Mogbo. GoK is going to be thrilled!

Not exactly the same! Would have to add strength and bulk ( 10-15 pounds )
Trevon Brazile is 6'10 230 lbs with a 7'4 wingspan and a 41 inch vertical! He's a mid to late 2nd round pick range. But the vertical explosiveness is very similar.

I'd hope for a little more than Olynyk as he's pretty hung out to dry. As for Mogbo, I'm in the dark on that one.

It cuts about $4 million in salary, so it saves the Suns a ton of luxury tax money. Mogbo was the 1st pick in the 2nd round, so he's almost like a late 1st. Getting rid of Nurkic is addition by subtraction in itself. K.O can spread the floor, something the rest of the Suns bigs are unable to do since they have limited range.
There isn't much meat on the bones to begin with.

Fair enough. The next four days will be both interesting and telling as to how the state of the Suns shapes up.

Re: 2024-25 Season Discussion and Speculation Part III
Why do the Suns have to be the ones to find a 3rd team to take Beal? Look Riley, if you want to remove your Butler cancer and don't want Beal, then YOU need to call GMs and find a deal. It should be you're responibility. We are the only team that will take the cancer off your hands and you can get a good player and 1st round pick.

Are you familiar with Mogbo man? 6'9 225 lbs with multipositional defensive ability, playmaking, ball handling, can go coast to coast, 17% OFR/ 31% DFR/ 22% assist percentage.
He'd actually be a steal for us. He was putting up nearly 4.6% stock rate back in college at San Francisco.
Only his shooting has been his weakness. But........... He's working on his shot!
He's a stat monster!

If the kings pull this off and add him to their new lineup, they're going to be really tough to beat!

Could Torrey Craig be coming back home again? Jones is probably getting butterflies right now thinking about it.
