Brooks' entire brand is to be as disrespectful as possible. I tried to listen to his POV about losing to LeBron, but how can you take it seriously when he talked **** to LeBron as a 2 seed and got bounced by LeBron as a 7 seed

It's all fun and games at the end of the day, and Dillon's trash talk isn't keeping DeMar from the hall of fame.

Brooks has been a winner and culture setter everywhere he's been. His personality rubs a lot of people the wrong way, but I have respect and a soft spot for him as a Canadian.

Also, there are people in the league and otherwise that criticize Dillon brooks all the time. Again everyone has an opinion. And regardless of what Dillon brooks has done in the league, his perspective on the demar situation is accurate. Regardless of if demar makes the hall of fame or not doesn’t change what he said. Maybe demar deserves to make the hall of fame, but he also wasn’t good enough to lead that raptors team to a championship. Both can be true.

I need Philly to beat NY.

I need Orlando to beat Cleveland.

If Bridges keeps shooting you should be ok. 3 of 16 is brutal.

I lowkey want philly to either rise in the standings or completely fall off. Assuming we can stay 3/4

I'd hate to play them in the first round easily our worst match up

Finalist for clutch player of the year, last two years. Although as I type this he fumbled a ball out of bounds. :D

I mean we’re fans and we have no basketball qualifications whatsoever that doesn’t mean we can’t recognize the facts. Dillon brooks is a Toronto kid, I’m sure he was a raptors fan growing up. He sees the same things we saw, he’s allowed to have that opinion. Has nothing to do with what he’s done on the floor.

He can have that opinion without saying it in a podcast. That's disrespectful imo

Btw, out of curiosity I looked at brooks’ career playoff numbers vs Demars and percentage wise they’re actually not far off. Demar is 42/21/85, 22/4.7/3.7. He also got more shots to get to his 20 points because he was the go to guy.

Dillon brooks is 40/33/76. 15/3.1/2.1. So yeah demars overall volume is more in terms of raw stats, but he also averaged more fga 19 vs 14 and his efficiency was actually not much better than brooks. So yeah demar was pretty bad in the playoffs and even based on playoff performance him and brooks are not that far off

Great example today of why KAT has ended up in roughly the same place with the Knicks as he did with the Wolves.

High-usage, offense-first 5s can't be zeroes on D and had better be very efficient. The team looked WAY better with Mitchell on.

Sucks Booker got hurt. Heat, Pistons and Cavs all get to play the Suns with him out. Not good for Raps.

Dillon? He's won one playoff series. He can talk all he wants, but he's literally calling DeMar out for something he also did.

Charlotte certainly taking advantage of 76ers with no Embiid or PG, up 44 in the 3rd.

76ers losing is good for us. Pacers were up double digits on the Hawks earlier, but because they are absolute trash, ended up losing.

Return to Toronto Raptors
