To Toronto: Morris Peterson + Jeff Green

To Memphis: Leandro Barbosa + Nenad Kristic + Miami 2011 1st Round Pick + Oklahoma 2011 1st Round Pick

To Sacramento: Oj Mayo + Hasheem Thabeet + Reggie Evans

To Oklahoma City: Carl Landry + Samuel Dalembert + Demarr Carroll
-

my 2 cents.
raptors get green too cheaply.
Mayo is redundant on Sac with evans there.
And a straight up trade between sac/okc makes more sense with the main players being green for landry.

Mayo isnt redundant though. Evans plays like a PG and handles the ball a lot, the person who he needs beside him is someone who can knock down jumpers (mayo). A ball dominant PG wont work beside Evans, Mayo can play off the ball and is a great jump shooter.

Green is averaging 15 and 6, Barbosa is averaging 13 and 2 in less minutes than Green, we add a late 1st and Green while hes nice hes going to get paid this summer and i think SAC would rather have Mayo + Thabeet than Green.

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

The way i see it is that Mayo and Evans both need the ball in their hands. Mayo is more the creator and Evans the scorer.
Greens scoring is deflated because he is the 3rd option on that team every game.
I would think Green/MoPete/Mullins for Landy/Dalembert would work.

We get the best player (Wallace) AND the best pg (Brooks) AND we get rid of Calderon. All we have to do is take on Diop.

I wonder how CHA feels about taking a whole field's worth of pineapples up the pooper though.

^^ That puts us in serious tax trouble, no way I'd do something like that without a younger prospect coming back. Have no interest in Crash at all, and he's made it known that he has no interest being traded here either.

Like I've said a 1,000,000 times before and makes the only sense if we want to be a good team.. Now and in the Future..

BC needs to somehow get Johnny Flynn from the Wolves... &.. Michael Beasley

you guys can say I'm crazy but it would make sense for now and in the future especially wit Jay Triano as our coach

Flynn
Derozan
Beasley
Davis
Bargnani is a good young core to move forward with.. loaded with potential
 Masai’s Rebuilt Raptors

PG: I. Quickley/ J. Walter/ J. Shead
SG: R. Barrett/ G. Dick / A. Lawson
SF: B. Ingram/ O. Agbaji / G. Temple
PF: S. Barnes/ C. Boucher/ J. Battle
C: J. Poeltl /J. Mogbo/ O. Robinson

And Flynn, a nice 6PPG in 20 minutes off 38% shooting.
Not too far off the 41% he shot from the field last year. Once a player has become a wreck, one should no longer pursue him. Its only been a year and a bit but hes shown nothing more than Bayless has, and Bayless isn't even a top tier prospect.

Beasley would be interesting but I wouldn't want to give up anything other than Amir/Ed for him.

I wouldnt give up Ed for Beasely. Ed is young and is playing well.....and we havent seen his full potential. Plus Beasely and Bargs on the court together.....just awful defensively

We all hate Bargnani who has "inefficiencied" his way to 20+PPG, yet we are salivating at the idea of adding another guy who chucks his way to 20 in Beasley?

I think this deserves its own thread, with Gallinari being dangled in the NY DEN trade I propose this blockbuster for the Raptors to get involved in - Gives Denver two Italians to pair together long term with expirings and great role players like Chandler, Bayless, and Weems. Bargnani and Gallinari could be an exciting pair with good contracts for the Nuggets. Raptors get youth with amazing upside in Felton, Afflalo, Randolph, and a future role players in Rautins and Williams. Knicks get their man and the defensive centre they need. Works all round in my opinion.

To NY

Nene
Carmello

To Denver

Eddy Curry
Danello Gallinari
Azubuike
Wilson Chandler
Andrea Bargnani
Sonny Weems
Bayless
Miami's First Rounder

To Toronto

Anthony Randolph
Andy Rautins
Shawne Williams
Aaron Afflalo
Raymond Felton

Raps Lineup for 2011 - assuming we cant trade Calderon and keep Reggie for a starting C - target Kyrie Irving and trade Felton and Randolph for a C and we have a young amazing team for low $

Felton - Calderon
Afflalo - Rautins
Derozen - Willaims
Amir - Randolph
Evans - Davis

If we don't win the lottery and can't get Irving, would anyone trade our pick for Paul George? I think I might.

Paul George? Nah... I'd rather have one of the two Joneses with our pick instead of George (or any other young SF on their rookie deal for that matter).

I'm still a Paul George fan. I wanted us to draft him last year. But anyways. I'd consider it. But In the end I'd say no.

Maybe for Nic Batum, Portland's pick this year, and a future first. Who knows, Portland might want Portland native Terrence Jones.

Houston trades:

T-Will, 2011 first round pick small TPE

gets:
Wright, weems, 2011 Miami first, 2011 Toronto second

Houston adds a defensive sf to finish out season at a years reduction of salary of=ver the very seldom used Twill. Also adds another young wing prospect who at times can be a solid player just needs to be away from the Raps and be surrounded by pros like Battier and Scola. Adds a couple of picks, one latge first and one early second. Houoston upgrades their talent level overall(even though marginally) but it costs them by dropping them in a weak draft.

toronto adds a sf who can do a bit of everything and just needs to be given a bit of time to play through some mistakes and allowed to grow with a young rebuilding team. Fills a large hole on the raps at the sf spot and can take pressure off the pgs. raps also move the miami pick up to the middle of the first round.

Bayless to CHA for Shaun Livingston.

Bayless is not going to be the answer at PG.

Livingston expendable in CHA due to Augustin. Playing well. Still only 25. 6'7" gives us great backcourt height with DD. Would be solid backup if we nab Irving.

I want T Williams here but why are we trading Miami 1st and 2011 Toronto 2nd for this? I would say Weems and Alabi for T Williams is a fair trade.

Cause we are also getting Houstons' first rounder this year. Wright and weems is not worth Williams and a top 15 pick.

Bargnani Evans + Weems to Philly for Evan Turner Elton Brand and Spencer Hawes

3 way trade

Calderon + Gordan Haywood to Charlotte
Gerald Wallace to Utah
Kirlilenko to Toronto

Evan Turner - Bayless
Derozen - Turner
Kirlilenko - Wright
Amir - Ed Davis
Brand - Hawes

let Kirlilenko expire and sign a centre like DeAndre Jordan and draft either Kyrie Irving to play pg, more turner to 2g (or trade him) and more Demar to SF - or trade down for future picks and take Terrance Jones

Kyrie Irving - Bayless (try and trade for a vet pg)
Evan Turner - Bayless
Derozen - Kleiza (sign a long armed veteren that plays tough D)
Amir - Ed Davis
Jordan - Hawes - Brand

That is one heck of a team! Avg age less then 25 by the time Turner Irving and Derozen need to be resigned Brand's contract will be expiring

Return to Toronto Raptors
