Averages 20 points, 6 rebounds since his first 4 games.

Team is 6-0 when he scores 25 points.

Could be an All-Star in different circumstances but has Durant, Butler, George, Leonard ahead of him.

His numbers for the season are really good, and he is improving. Defensively he has been solid.

18.7 points, 5.9 boards, 1.3 assits, 1 steal and he is shooting 0.496 from the floor.

Not an All Star player yet IMO, but he is getting closer and closer with every game.

The one stat no one seems to want to discuss

Rookie season 3PT% - .238 on 0.5 attempts
2nd season 3PT% - .400 on 1.5 attempts
3rd season 3PT% - .265 on 1.5 attempts
Current season 3PT% - .143 on 1.5 attempts

He's been a fairly reliable secondary scorer for us but for him to get to the next level offensively, he really needs to get to that .350% mark

I agree I think I've written it off for the season as the numbe is too low to do much about it for now.

Hopefully in his prime of 25-28 he can shoot 33%+

If Warren gets some respectable 3pt shot, he'll be a cheat code.

... and if he gets more free throws. 0 attempts last game but still got 25 points. 12 for 19 shooting.
Him and Booker are awesome scoring duo. Now if anyone on the team could be at least half as good as they are constantly.

Current season 3PT% - .158 on 1.5 attempts after the last game. He is improving. :D

He just needs to hit one here and other there on a better percentage to be a tremendous offensive player. I would be happy with 30% on 2 attempts per game in the future, that would be enough for him.

Warren really just needs to stick to high corner 3's. What I mean is, right around the elbow area. He is shooting poorly from there this year, but in his 2nd year in the league he was shooting the corner 3 at 44%. This year he is shooting the corner 3 at 11%.

I love TJ's game, even without the 3.

I actually thought I saw something different last night - he hit a three, a couple feet behind the line, shooting 'his' shot, as opposed to the alternative 'classic' release he had practiced for year 2. The biggest differences the low release point and the time he took for the release. That may just be the way forward for TJ and the long ball. It'll never be his preferred shot unless he's red hot. But I much prefer it when TJ's hitting that mid-range jumper time after time after time - unstoppable.

DeMar DeRozan has a career .281 3P FG%.

And plays no defense.

And is an All Star. 3 times at that. And All-NBA team, too.

Derozan is a decent comp even though their games are a bit different. One negative is there is a question of if derozan has hurt them in the playoffs when teams really focus in and take away a guys stregths. Plus non 3pt shooters at the 3 do limit how you can construct your roster because it becomes nessesary to have shooters at the 1 and 4. I like Warren a lot and think he's part of the core just pointing out some limitations if he doesn't develop a 3 pt shot.

TJ won't be our main scorer though if we finally reach the playoffs. Ideally #1 option is Booker then fill in the blank for #2 and Warren is the 3rd option. Would love for TJ to be comparable to Derozan in a couple years as our third option

I know we're talking relatively low volumes (1.5 attempts career max) but I don't understand how he could've gotten worse over the years. Is it the increased defensive pressure? Is it his shooting form which he's "perfected" for the mid-range and but doesn't keep it's same effectiveness at the 3PT range? He's had some really great open looks but it's just super streaky

In the last 3 games he is 1-2, 1-3 and 1-2 for 3. Let's hope it's some sign of improvement.

He would be the PERFECT 2nd scorer (think Klay) especially if he developed a 3 pointer. An efficient, low-key sort of guy who doesn't always need the ball next to Booker is almost too good to be true.

I feel like a good scenario is getting Jackson to develop and we're starting Booker/Jackson/Warren and the 2/3/4 with a defensive monster for a center.

He was 31% in college and 31% in NBA prior to this season.

If his defender has to gaurd him at the perimeter that would make his mid-range game even better.

TJ is 3rd in the league in technical fouls this season (6), behind only Cousins and Draymond lol
Booker (5) is 5th. Chriss and Jackson (3) are 13th.
