I still don't see the problem of having Simmons playing PG.
Is like, Ben as PG is better than Russell at everything except shooting the ball...

This idea of being scared of playing Ben as PG comes from where? I don't get it and nobody explained yet

And once again, playing Ben with KAT is completely different from playing Ben with Embiid.

You can't play Simmons on the perimeter.

Of course, you can.
With 4 others guys that can shoot the ball you can.
He would be a point forward or point guard... Depending on how the other team would defend him.

Ben could be your point guard or your center. At any of those positions, we are talking about an elite passer and an elite finisher at the rim.

Clearly you did not. If you did your response would have left out the first part.

Sorry if my wording was vague, to clarify - that DLO, KAT, and Ben themselves have the preference to team up together (and I'm sure have had conversations in private regarding such a topic). I still think the package will revolve around Malik, Prince, Bolmaro, multiple 1sts, and Rosas doing whatever he can to retain Jaden

I would argue that a big part of why Ben wants to play here is because we have DLO. They are super tight from their days as HS teammates and definitely want to play together. I don't see D'angelo going out in any Simmons deal

Eggzactly.

You guys are aware that Simmons and KAT are tight too, right?

It’s rumored that Ben didn’t get a suspension after the Embiid-KAT tussle because Towns personally went to the NBA front office to ask that Ben not be punished.

I hear that people put value on the KAT-DLo relationship. I would add Booker in here as well. However, I haven’t heard either Simmons or DLo say they wanted to play together. I think Simmons is one player that KAT would accept in a DLo trade - a close friend that can help him win. And KAT really wants to win, to change what people say about him.

Here Simmons saying he wants to play with DLo.
Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic confirms on Dan Barrerio that Ben Simmons is open to being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves to play with his friends Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell. Along with fellow Klutch Sports client Anthony Edwards.

Feel free to retire “you have your right to be wrong”.

It’s such a douche move.

Nope. I love it. :D
And calling it a douche move is kind of disgusting. is that how you like to insult people calling them feminine hygiene products? How very enlightened of you. it's a million times worse than me saying a person has a right to be wrong.
You should retire that one.

This reduces the space for Ant drives, and it reduces the match up advantage KAT provides.

There's a huge difference between putting Ben on the perimeter with Embiid and with KAT.
With KAT he can start the offense in the half-court and cut inside (and stay there).
With Embiid he can't, because every time Embiid catches the ball on the top of the key he goes inside, KAT shoots the ball.

The space wouldn't be a problem for Ant with KAT on the top of the key and Ben inside.

Ben Simmons is pretty dang good at attacking a defender sagging 5 feet or more off him. He goes with a full head of steam and he’s tough to stop. And if he gets stopped, there’s a great chance that someone is open and that he’ll find them. Simmons’ creativity and vision are amplified by his driving.

He can post up too, but I prefer him driving from the perimeter.

Does he have to work on his FTs? Yes. Of course. But there’s still tons of incentive to let him play PG.

My saying You have your right to be wrong is just my way of saying we disagree. You throw out the D word and yet you call me the one acting like a jerk. How can you possibly defend the use of that word? Retire it. It is a disgusting way to refer to somebody and you using it makes you disgusting as well. Who gives a sheet whether you had 3 or 100 and ones. Why don't you tell us all who those three admirers of you are. I bet your mother is proud of you using Douche in the way you do. Time to put you back on iggy.

I’m saying your way of saying “we disagree” is a put down.

You don’t have to put someone down to say you disagree.

How is it a put down in any way? Even if it is why the need to use Douche in your reply. Disgusting.

You have your right to be ignorant.

That’s what you’re saying, whether you intend to or not.

I am informing you that that does not make other people feel good.

Feedback.

Also, IDK about that either.
On paper, it looks nice to have Ben's ability to create and DLO's ability to shoot.
But we didn't think the same thing about Rubio and DLO as well?

Look at the usage of DLO. Is crazy high for the little he gives as Poing Guard. And neither he is a catch and shooter player.
You add Ben, with ANT showing up, with KAT of course. Somebody has to go to make this work...

Wow do you make assumptions. Are you saying I'm saying the person is ignorant? Never once have I done that. I have my right to be wrong just like everybody else. This is America. We are allowed to be wrong.

As far as making people feel good is that my job? This is a message board where people argue all the time. There is no obligation to make people feel good. Just don't be disgusting like you were. I see you aren't trying to defend your use of that word so not doubling down on it at least.

Meh. Funny they lead with KAT, right, when Ben and DLo were HS teammates? And Edwards seems tacked on as well.

DLo and Simmons have known each other for at least six years. I can’t remember either of them saying anything before this about reuniting.

I strongly doubt we will ever see Jaden on an all NBA Defense first team. If we keep him I hope I'm wrong about that.

DLo and KAT were lumped together. Ben is tight with both of them. If I had to guess I would say he is more tight with Russell.

Edwards as you said was Tacked on.

Good point. I was impressed how well he did, at only 185 pounds.

I know one thing for sure. I’m not going to count out an 18 year old early, just because he doesn’t have an NBA body .. yet.

That Garnett kid seemed to do okay with a similar build. I think Klomp made the Brandon Ingram comp a few months ago - that always felt right to me. McDaniels attack game isn’t there yet, but his body is not holding him back.
