get the #2 pick, trade Williams to get up to #1, and take Oladipo

I just don't see a quality NBA caliber player. 7'0 center that plays more like a PF with no inside game. He doesn't play physical, doesn't have any post moves, no baby hook, he's always getting his shots blocked, and he's been exposed when playing against powerful front lines (Mich St./Wisc/Minn).

i'm not going to rule him out. i think that he'd be a pretty good fit in adelman's system. he's got a relatively high floor. not a sexy pick by any means.

Thought this was a good write up. Would be an interesting scenario for the Memphis pick. Sorry if posted.

Certainly would be interesting. He has a lot of natural ability - the multiple team violations, suspensions, etc are a bit scary though. But if we stay at #26 in a not-so-great draft he could be a steal and if he is out of the league in 2 years oh well.

took me far too long to figure out how hell he possibly was able to go from Georgia Tech to the D-League to Michigan before at long last realizing that he's not Glenn Robinson III. All these sons of players got me confused.

If MCW and Len go top 8 then Shabazz is ours.

It is going to be a long hard summer.

I really can't see us getting Olapido from 9.

Super early guess for if we don't trade our picks!

9). Alex Len - Pek insurance

26). Kentavious Caldwell-Pope - Take a flyer on talent.

52). James Ennis - Nice size. Training camp fodder.

59). Pierre Jackson - Bad size. Training camp fodder.
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

Hey guys,

I´m along time reader and now want to start to post sometimes.
Sorry for my english, its not my first language.

With the 9th Pick, I hope we can land Oladipo anyway, if not trade the pick with Ridnour/Barea for a starting caliber sg. With the other picks I would like to draft some international prospects. Hoping for Schröder but he will be gone. If we can land Daric, Adetokoubo or Karasev I´m fine. Also in the second round round we should select internationals. let them stay in europe or where else they play and hope one or two aut of the gruop pan out. The Spurs do it every year and it seems like one of three selected players is ready to playafte 2 or 3 years. That dont has to be be a star but a good role player should be there in this group of selscted players.

Hope you unterstand me :)

I'd love a swap of Ridnour or Barea for Clevelands two early 2nds. Take a guy like Glen Rice III, Alex Abrines, Lucas Noguiera

I think we'd probably have to give up something for a team to give up raw cap space for one of those guys heading into free agency.

I'm riding the shabazz trade all the way into the draft. On the bandwagon since day 1!

I am expecting (and hoping really) that Oladipo and Shabazz are gone by #9. That is of course if we have 9... With that said, I want CJ McCollum on the Wolves next year. He is everything Rick Adelman wants out of Luke Ridnour and some. Sure, he's not big, but the kid can score from anywhere and is smart. If he isn't injured this year, he is a small college, household name similar to Steph Curry in 2009. A guy who who is 6' 3", averages 24 points on 50% shooting is clearly doing something right.

This guy should be picked in the 2nd round. 6' 6'' with 6'11''(!) wingspan. His 3PT% is worrisome, but it is because he has a really bad shot selection due to youth. He might not live up to his potential, but he might really do something in 2 or 3 years, so it's worth spending a late pick on him. This is from a game a couple of months ago, check it out.
