Pompey not in the lineup again, started to get worried now. He was pulled from the game on Sunday due to cramping but it could be a more serious leg injury

It seems like over his last few starts Norris is starting to have issues with his command again. I wonder if it might be fatigue related at this point in the season.

He hasn't been transferred to the 7-day DL

Re: 2014 Minor Leagues/Prospect Discussion Thread
Nice economical workout by Sean Nolin, first game back at BUF after a long DL stint.
Went six scoreless, 2 hits, 1 walk, 3K. Retired the last six he faced. Threw 76 pitches (45 strikes).
(Now he would be an attractive second tier trade chip)

Good outing. He replaces Hendricks just fine. Nolin would definitely be a guy I'd be fine with trading though.
If the Bisons win, they can leapfrog Indianopolis in the wild card standings and be just 4 back of Pawtucket for the final spot.

If the Jays could upgrade the MLB roster using Sean Nolin as a trade chip, I'd be OK with that.

Pillar also hit his 6th homer, two RBIs and raised his average to .319 (as I write this). He might be an interesting throw-in, still young enough with lots of control. But he hits right and maybe AA wants to have that in the farm in case a RH batter goes down.

I'd be fine with either Pillar, Davis, Smith Jr as OFers that might be dealt. Hopefully we hang on to Pompey though.

I don't know if this has been posted already, but this was a comment from Chris King during SRF's last outing.

Re: 2014 Minor Leagues/Prospect Discussion Thread
Starting to get a wee bit concerned with Norris' recent lack of control. At this point I don't mind if he gets hit around a little, but he needs to stay away from those high walk totals.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Not concerned yet. He's into the ranks of professional hitters now, and there's a tendency to get a bit too cute...strikeout rate suggests he's having little trouble missing bats, he just isn't challenging them enough.
In other news, Barreto broke a mini-slump by going 2 for 4 with his second homer. Revenge of the Midgets: The Franklin and Marcus Story remains scheduled for 2018.

**** your asterisk.

Schad, you're boy Dan Jansen with 1-2 with a HR and 2BB
why do they keep hitting him so low in the lineup, he's one of the best hitters in the Appalachian League
