Re: Skolnick's report. I have no doubt that player feels that way. That doesn't mean he's speaking for LeBron.

Also, we technically haven't used any cap space, we used our exceptions (which can't be combined). It's hard to do much better at the $5 mil level and $2 mil level than we did. We also got younger doing it.

Cap space is/was/always will be on what LeBron/Wade/Bosh are willing to sacrifice. Our exceptions are what they are and, based on the market and ages/skill-sets of McRoberts and Granger, it's almost impossible to argue we could have done better.

I believe LeBron wouldn't have been that impressed by the McBob and Granger moves. Was anyone really that "impressed?" But I also think LeBron knows we just need a few quality role players to plug into existing roles on a 4 time EC and 2 time NBA championship team. Cleveland needs an overhaul of a team that has missed the playoffs for 4 years with a new coach with no NBA experience who LeBron has supposedly never even met. On a 4-5 year deal I'd say Cleveland gives him the better team long term (barring a Heat cap dump and rebuild in 2 years), but on the 1-2 year deal LeBron supposedly wants, the Heat give the better chance of winning titles.

If it's true that he reached out to guys about coming with him if he left Miami, he's gone.

granted, he cant rly recruit mike miller to miami...

Doesn't necessarily have to be about Miller

There's a ton of other guys out there Lebron could have recruited to Miami

I don't know what to make of that... Lebrons FIRST CHOICE was to stay in Miami, but doesn't recruit to Miami? He knew about McBob and Granger, but apparently it doesn't impress him? I'm sure Pat spoke to Lebron first about this

It's just a lot of conflicting reports

No, not out of idle curiousity, but if you are truly weighing two options, then you want to collect as much info about each as possible. Doesn't mean he made up his mind when he did that.
