Well you and Kane have always had a good hunch about what happens with the team. I think it's now going to happen eventually for the same reason. Thanks fam. I did at a time believe the NTC basically said "you're a Knick for life", then I thought about it some and seeing how Melo has responded at times. Melo has a huge ego as do any star type player. I really do believe the final straw was not making the all-star team starters and likely not being there at all.

I think Melo is fine without a ring in the NBA. I don't think he wants to go out in his latter years taking L's like this, and quite honestly even though I thought this roster was .500 material, it's actually really, really poor from a competition standpoint. It's gonna be a minute before the Knicks become decent again, and I think Melo realizes that.

Just my two cents, but I believe Melo will be a Clipper really soon. The amount of info coming just seems to lean towards getting this done quick and both sides moving forward, and the Clippers have some motivation to get a deal done.
