Same type of deal we gave Randle but instead guarantee all 3 years.
With 7 picks in 3 years, I'm wondering why we have to throw money at any young player that's not a star.
We would be paying him for what he could be.
His potential is sky high.

35 straight years is a pretty good guarantee of future results...
the cubs went 101 years between world series wins but it eventually happened. our day is gonna come

Plus by investing time in him you’re gonna stunt RJ’s development because LaMelo can’t play off the ball and is just gonna dominate the ball while shooting 30% from the field. Might even beat Knox and Frank and reach the 20% mark.
Otherwise sure drafting LaMelo sounds like a good idea.
Yes am not feeling the LaMelo and RJ pairing as well. If we really think LaMelo is a superstar we may have to consider trading RJ for pieces that would complement LaMelo better. For me personally I’d prioritize RJ over LaMelo.
Jason Williams was the first thing I saw in LaMelo as well although the latter is six to seven inches taller and as such should have a higher ceiling both literally and figuratively.
As electric as Jason Williams was, the Kings became a bigger threat when they replaced him with Mike Bibby, a far less flashier player but ultimately more effective.

Only 66 more years of losing to go until the promised land...that's the way to think positive.![]()

at this point if I could guarantee it in 66 years I'd take the deal

Get this hachuwa outta here we didn't watch Julius Randle spin around all year to end up with this dude
Jalen Smith >>>> Hachuwa

This was the logical flaw of Mills when he gave Tim Hardaway Jr that deal that even shocked Timmy.
Buy low, Sell high.

Yeah dude is just not that talented. He's athletic and that's it. Smith, Reed these guys have some actual skills. I don't get the hype

Am torn about just waiting out and hoping Paul Reed remains available at 27 or consolidating our late first and early second to try to trade up for Precious.
I see Spicy P in Paul Reed although Precious is intriguing as a prospect.

He may turn out to be an even better as a Pro in the right environment. How does he compare to Kwahi's college numbers.? (I'm too lazy to look it up right now)
Seriously though, without a trade Precious Achiuwa's minutes will be severely restricted.
Plus after watching his interview with Mike Schmitz, he's a expresses himself a little too cocky for what I believe is Walt Perrin draft profile. Pop is very similar in that respect.

I like Tillman. He can be a KOQ backup big. Give you good hard minutes...play defense, rebounds and good passer with a nice touch around the rim. Maybe a bit undersized but is smart and moves well.

Probably more mobile than KOQ. Could see him finding a nice role on a contender or a potential contender down the road.
