Question: While not yet checking to see if it's plausible myself, does anyone think some part of the offseason planning this may be to be in position to free up the full MLE next offseason? Al resigned, Grant extended, Gallo declining player option, TPE used for player on last contract year or, better, team option for 23/24.....

Kings need Fox or Sabonis to learn to shoot from the perimeter, would be a huge leap for them. Otherwise they’re still cooked and need to trade one or both when the market turns in their favor. Worst case they’re the new Pacers, make the playoffs a couple times but the pieces are a bad fit, they constantly look to deal both and never do.

He's not quite Huerter, but Divincenzo was 36.8% from 3 last year with the Kings on almost 6 attempts. Just dunno how to possibly acquire him when the MLE's likely to be used on Gallo.
