Did any one feel that? my chandeleer is still shaking. Shaking went on for 10 seconds a minute ago... i'm pretty dizzy!!

Yeah i felt it for like 30 seconds it seemed. I was taking a dump to be honest (tmi?)

After the northridge earthquake a lot of buildings were fixed to be "earthquake proof". Nothing is really earthquake proof for a major major earthquake if they are really close to the quake, but chances are even if it's one as big as the one that hit haiti, if it's more than 10 miles from where you live you will be fine, so I kind of like my chances of either a small one hitting close or a strong one hitting far enough away. haiti was devastating because of the buildings there moreso than the earthquake power itself
