How is +/- computed?
I understand is principle how it works but Belinelli played 5 seconds and his +/- is +6. I did not see the game but I can't imagine the Warriors scored 6 points in 5 seconds.

Warriors were fouling immediately to prevent the Raptors from shooting a 3 at the end of the game. They fouled them 3 times and each time Beli was on the floor.

Re: How is +/- computed?
Things can get a bit funky with the Raps due to the defensive/offensive substitutions for roleplayers. This is why it makes more sense to look at +/- for extended periods of time, rather than short intervals.

Re: How is +/- computed?
There are two different kinds of +- popularly used. The nba.com flavor, and the 82games flavor.
The nba.com kind is your teams +- rate when you are on court. So on a very bad team, anyone who plays significant minutes will be negative. The 82games.com kind is a comparison of your team's +- rate when you are on the court, and when you are off, and presenting the difference in those for the given player. So a player could have a big positive +- on a bad team, as long as that team is a lot better when that player is on court.... even if "a lot better" is still losing, just not as badly.
