contrary to most people I'm going with Blatche. his farce lasted much longer than Ricky's.

Exactly my point, Davis's was casual and in the last few seconds. He didn't even really seem like he wanted it..just took the opportunity. Blatch on the other hand was trying everything imaginable to get it even attempting to bribe the opposing team(Yi).

I like how Blatche is not the only selfsh/stupid/stat padding Wiz player in that clip. When Mike Miller passes to McGee he holds his hand out like "No! Don't drive to the hoop, just dirbble it out! The game is over!" but McGee has zero class and drives in anyways to pad his points. Afterwards Mike Miller can be seen just shaking his head. Definitely feel sorry for the classy vets who are forced to play with these selfish youngsters.

although i totally agree with your point, i just thought i'd nitpick and point out that Miller isn't a classy individual; rather, he's a full-time basketball player and part-time circus ringleader.

I left the house one day when I was in Orlando and I got a call later from my neighbor, who said that my dogs and monkey were walking around the neighborhood. I had put the monkey up in his room and shut his door and put the dogs outside. But sure enough, when I got home, my monkey was riding the Great Dane and they were walking up and down the street. He had unlocked his door, gone downstairs and opened the door for the dogs and taken them for a walk.

My all time favorite triple double, which I'm sure our friends in the Magic Kingdom remember quite well:

Can't view the vid, but didn't Jon or Brent Barry try a similar gig quite a few years ago?

I find it weird that the media (and opposing players/coaches) made a big deal out of the fake triple double attempts by Bowie, Davis and Sura, but Blatche is getting pretty much zero flak from anywhere but Real GM. Is stat padding just more accepted today?

it's not that embarassing though if they're doing this occasionally:

Frank Deford, Sports Illustrated wrote:Chamberlain used to say: "What do you mean Russell won ? I got 35 points. I got 21 rebounds, he only got 19". So that in Chamberlain's way of assessing things - he won.

that's the guy embarassing himself. he wanted to prove he's the man... by gaining enough empty boxscore stats. by contrast, look at my signature

Embarrassing? Definitely Blatche, Davis was more humorous than anything.

Blatche for sure. That's just downright pathetic.

I don't get why Blatche didn't try to rebound his last shot. But damn..I feel embarrassed for him.

Blatche's by far because he made several attempts, not just one, at getting a triple double. Not only that, but all of his attempts are also more pathetic than Davis' single attempt. I mean seriously, asking the opposition if he could grab the rebound?

Blatche, in part because he's acted like such a knucklehead lately. In addition, a triple-double is hardly impressive when your team is embarrassing.

I don't see what's not classy about this, but everything about it is epic. Who has a monkey that rides a dog

Blatche's was just ridiculous. It was like he was playing in a rec league comp or something.

Wouldn't you try to get that TD if you were in his position, one rebound away from it?
