I've been a Jays fan all my life... but one major regret I have is that I was really just a little too young to appreciate the days when the Jays were a true powerhouse back in the early 90's. I certainly watched... and attended games with my family... but to be honest I don't think I really understood sports back then. To me, as a kid, I just assumed the Jays always won, and grew accustomed to that. I remember I use to actually be excited when the other team scored, because I knew we would come back and win. Long story short, I think I took it all for granted, as I never got to really experience a losing team first... all I knew was the Jays always won.
Anyway I was just hoping to hear some stories of fond memories from people who were actually old enough to appreciate the Jays back then. Perhaps stories of trying to get tickets to a sold out game... or parading down Yonge street... or seeing the SkyDome under construction... etc etc.
