Gardners bunt attempt killed the rally, just a horrible job..

Joba wet the bed giving up that two run homer...

we can't continue with johnson and tex, not even hitting their weight.. we are lucky to be 11-4 and most likely 11-5 at this point..

Bad loss..

its time to move curtis up...nick johnson needs to be moved down...you need hits from your #2 hitter

Trade Vazquez while his value is high; this is a career year for him and he has never been considered a big game pitcher.

^I guess Braves fans knew what they were talking about...

I dont trust Vazquez or joba for that matter, but at least joba has an excuse he lost his volacty, and thats very much exposed his weak stuff. on the other hand Vazquez has all the tools to be a great pitcher, he has good command and has a whole array of pitches in his arsenal. and yet hes so inconsistent.

Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

ugh, why did we bring him back? Some people just can't make it in New York, and this clown is one of them.

^^^
This guy has half our losses (3 out of 6).
I doubt he keeps pitching this bad , he'll eventually turn it around, I'll be shocked if he doesn't. Considering his numbers last year, and I know it's NL but I think he can at least give us 6-7 IP with an era around 4.50 not considering these horrible 4 games.

So when will we see Montero at DH? Another couple weeks of Johnson hitting weaker than my aunt shirley or after he strains a muscle in his neck looking at another pitch hit the catchers mitt?

Yeah and didn't understand bringing Vasquez back one bit. The way he's looked they'd be better of with Sergio Mitre and Chad Gaudin splitting time...as the no.5 starter. Heck, might as well sign Pedro. At least he won't have a problem with his balls curling up into his gastric region at the thought of pitching a big game. Heck Jarrod Washburn is a FA isn't he? He's always done well against the Yanks and has pitched big ni the playoffs. Why not sign him, even it a minor league deal for the eventuality that Vasquez poops his pants and is demoted.
