Portland off season Mark I

So this is my first shot at a Portland off season plan
Goals: Upgrades at backup PG, SF, Backup PF
Trade with Philly
Przybilla, Rudy, 19th pick, rights to Claver
for
Iggy
Portland upgrades both offensively and defensively at the 3, while keeping Batum as the backup
Philly gets shooting (Rudy will play better once he gets out of Nate's grasp), an expiring that will be 80% paid for if / until he comes back, the Euroleague ROY, and a decent draft pick
Trade with Bucks
Webster, future 1st, Rights to Freeland and/or Koponen
for
Sign and trade Ridnour (5-6 mpy)
Portland upgrades the backup PG spot in a big way, and Ridnour is an Oregon guy
Milwaukee hopes Webster continues to improve as a Battier-lite type player, and gets a future 1st as well as their choice in a couple of semi promising euros
Offer MLE to both Udonis Haslem and Travis Outlaw.
Would prefer Haslem, but he may be more likely to resign with Miami. If not, bring Outlaw back for 3 years at full MLE to play backup PF
Offer vet minimum to Juwan Howard, and turn him into more of a player / coach. His play has been a surprise this year, but his influence on the roster has been spectacular
Resign Patty Mills for a 2 year contract, and get him a bit more burn this season
2011 roster
Miller / Ridnour / Mills
Roy / Bayless
Iggy / Batum
Aldridge / Haslem or Outlaw / Howard
Oden / Camby / Penderbeast

I'm pretty sure that first one doesn't work financially even if the Sixers did want to do it. It's not way off, but the Blazers need to send more salary.
I don't know about Milwaukee putting a lot of value in Webster either, but maybe.

Philly would need more in that first trade.

Isn't Ridnour a UFA, if so why not just sign him using MLE. If I was Philly I would not do the first trade.

He would sign, but I wanted to use the MLE to get a backup PF

I'd give Blazer fans 10 games before they start bitching about Ridnour. That's the kind of signing that looks great in the summer after he comes off a solid season, but fans would hate the minute he starts actually playing. He's gonna be a backup for Miller, so minutes are gonna be short to begin with, that in itself means his production is going to be low. At the MLE, he's gonna look overpaid for what we'd be getting and fan would immediately look to dump him. I just wonder if the Blazers could find a more economical backup point. I wonder why the Blazers seem to have such a hard time finding a good PG in the draft? There have been some really solid PG's available where the Blazers have been picking over the past few years.
I'm really torn on getting Iggy to the Blazers. The Blazers really need another Roy-like scorer, but I really don't want to bring Batum off the bench. I think his progress has shown that he's worth keeping in the starting lineup. I think he can become a 15ppg scorer as he gets older.
My ideal summer for the Blazers would be for them to upgrade at PF. I really like LaMarcus, but he just isn't that 2nd all star that we need.

I want to upgrade Aldridge too, but let's look at the players that are upgrades
Nowitsky - Not getting traded
Bosh - Not likely to want to sign in Portland
Amare - Same as bosh
Gasol - Not getting traded

I'd love to see the Blazers at least make a run at Bosh before closing the door on whatever sliver of a chance there may be to get him to come to Portland. I agree though, if he doesn't have any interest in going to OKC, I can't see him being excited for Portland. Seems like a big-city kinda guy and if the rumors are true, he wants to go where he'll be the "big name".
Overall, I don't disagree with anything you've said, but I'm also still not sold on forcing Batum to the bench for Iggy.

Could go stretches of the game with a lineup of
Roy
Iggy
Batum
Camby
Oden
And allow no points per game

Sorry farzi, I'm not wild about the trades. Does anyone really know what Bosh is looking for, aside from money? If winning is important to him and a future, why wouldn't he consider Portland? If he wants the big city life, then Portland doesn't stand a chance. I just don't know what is actually important to the guy. Like DB mentioned, I would hope the Blazers at least take a shot at him.
