Raps/Jazz

A deal which is centered around Bargs for Millsap.

What is needed to complete this trade from either side?

Fair enough...though I do think Bargs would look good next to Boozer.

What's terrifying to think about is if Bargs bought into Sloan's system. You'd have a better Okur at that point. :D

Deal? Deal. No takebacks.

You do the deal to get Bosh to stay. Bosh and Millsap would be one of the best rebounding frontcourt combos in the league. You really don't lose anything offensively...

Not sure where toronto's issue is at all?

I love Amir, love him. But he's nowhere close to Millsap.

Sure but @ the price and the fact that they are both coming off the bench I'd take Amir 100x/100x

?

Millsap would start. And give us 35 minutes per game.

Who would be playing center?

Millsap or Bosh, wouldn't really matter. Not like Bargs is really tossing his massive frame around down low anyways.

You sell Bosh on the fact that he'll have a hustle, hardworking, garbage man picking up offensive rebounds.

Then you go out and deal Calderon and Derozan, maybe the 1st, for a better SG.

Jack/Banks
Better sg/Weems
Hedo/FA
Millsap/Amir
Bosh/FA

Not a bad team you're looking at. A Millsap/Hedo pick and roll would be nice.

err.. Bargnani is a great post defender, and blocks almost as many shots....on a lot better offense. Not to mention Millsap and Bosh are a terrible match offensively (bargnani/Bosh is one of the best offensive compliments in the league)

But Yeah, if anyone thinks putting Bargnani @ center is bad defensively, watching Bosh play center would be ridiculous.

Also.... Hedo had how many successful PnRs this season? 2-3?

great post defender? Let's be honest. He's ok, maybe even borderline good, but great? That's a stretch.

How are they a terrible match offensively, explain that?

Bosh played center for a while at the beginning of his career and it wasn't THAT bad. Considering there are only a few big centers left in the league and that Bosh has gained weight....not sure if it would be that big of an issue.

And yes, Hedo, with someone decent setting the picks, is a great pick and roll player. Unfortunately, nobody on the Raptors can set a decent pick to save their lives.

How was Jermaine O'neal and Bosh offensively?

You can't pair up people who occupy the same spot on offense... its counter productive..

Also, Bargnani is rated like 8th in the league in post defense. some thread somewhere, might be a bit lower like 8-12th, but when you factor in bargnani is posted up a lot more then the people in the top 10 it makes him great.

Yes and one of the worst help defenders in the history of basketball. Which takes his status down quite a lot.

Except Millsap occupies the space under the bucket. He's not at the elbows like Bosh and O'Neal. He hangs around under the bucket, much like Amir, and picks up garbage buckets.

Why do you think Boozer and Millsap work well together?

Feel more like trading Bosh for Kirilenko and Price.
However, not sure if Bosh wants to go there. He said he wants media attention, which Utah might not be the best place, I guess.
