absolutely ridiculous.. those guys are going to have to start producing and soon..

crazy thing. we gained a game on the rays in two days without officially playing a game.. LOL..

yea pharm, I saw pics of target field.. very nice..

Nice win of the continuation of the suspended game.. Jeter with the big homer... :onfire:

Second game great pitched game by andy, but why let him come back out in the 8th? and the lack of situational hitting is very disturbing.... very!!! pretty much about to give this game away now.. pettite is in a bind..

Now I can see why andy was out there in the 8th..LOL.. nice pitching to mauer, inning ending double play to one of the toughest hitters in the league, with runners at the corner, less than two outs and down 3-1 in the count... wow... that is why Andy is part of a core that has 5 rings..

Tampa wet the bed vs boston, letting them back into the race.. but good news for us, we are just 3.5 out of first now...

Now the sox get to go play the royals.. wow, soft series for them.. KC can hit tho. I hope they can take 2 games from boston.. that would be great..

We went on the road and won a series against a first place team, but this offense MUST wake up. The way baseball works, we can average 6.5 runs a game over the next 10 and forget the offense ever struggled, but something has to happen soon.

With Granderson coming back and an easier schedule coming up, the offense should be poised to break out.

Exactly. No other team gets this kind of scrutiny from the sports writers. If any other team dealt with the injuries, inconsistencies, and yet can post the second best record in baseball...they would take it any day of the week.

Baseball is a marathon sport. Its no sprint like football. The yanks don't need to be in first when it's not even in June. They just need to get healthy.
