New Post issues

There are New threads that keep the new thread icon even after i view them. I could be the last poster to post and it'll still say there are new post. If there are new posts and i click on the icon it will take me to the 1st post from the 1st time i visited the thread.

This happened 3 times now. 1st 2 times i cleared my cookies to fix, but that turns EVERY thread into a new thread. There is gotta be a fix for this. Logging in and out doesn't help.
