Hey all--I follow Morey on Twitter, and he gives a ton of insightful comments. Figure it'd make sense to have a forum discussion on what he says. I'll post his stuff here, to try to get some comments going.

No big mystery as to what turned them on about "Call Me" Ishmael Smith.

He's a D-League Aaron Brooks. Nothing wrong with that.

P.S. - We've got U-Verse, which is awesome EXCEPT they don't offer NBATV. It's horrible, I know. (The things men do for love, huh?) So I have to ask:

Where can I watch NBATV online? Anywhere? Anyone? Little help? I'm happy to break the law, if it matters.

Why aren't we using Andersen in the SL. he should be getting some serious evaluating.

Prob way too late to respond,but NBA-TV is saying you can get SL games on Broadband for $14.95.

As to Rockets Summer League team,Coach Turner said it was all about getting Bud,JT,Hill and Patterson ready for the Season. This SL is going to be huge for the Rockets.
If Hill shows in practice and the games he can be a legit back-up C and if...
Taylor shows he can be a legit back-up SG,then...
Morey can spend his energy/time working on getting a star instead of having to shore up holes.

From a couple of early games,Paul George has great vision,nice passing ability but his handle is bad,he's been stripped off dribble several times a game and his shot needs a lot of work.
Evan Turner is playing too fast and is making bad turnovers.Smooth but he isn't going to set the world on fire at first.
Way too early,but Favors is not getting it done on the glass at all.
