I prefer neither, but if I had to choose, I'd say Lee fits better with his mid-range game, although Boozer would be a better option because he's a better player and it would allow Favors to get some time at center with Boozer at PF. Favors could then get some time at pf, when Lopez is at center.

If Favors pans out Lee would come off the bench and Carlos wouldn't. Also Lee healthier and better imo.

I like Lee better, Boozer might have the slightly better physical post game but I like Lee's passing and unselfishness. Neither play good D so it's a wash. Give me Lee with the remaining 13.5 mil after we land LBJ (please).

IMO, if you watched the Lakers/Utah series therein lies the reason why I wouldnt sign Boozer. I am not sure about Lee defense in the post but we know he can get rebounds.

If Favors works out...Lee could come off the bench???

What do you want him to do, not play at all? If Favors pans out, he's better than Lee, it's as simple as that.

If we sign Lee or Boozer and Favors really pans out, then Lee or Boozer will likely be traded for a player of value at another position. This would be like 3 years into their respective contract though, but one thing to think about is, maybe guys like Lee and Boozer also realize this and this may effect their decision to come here in the first place.

FA bigs...factoring in talent, age, reliability/health and COST

1- Bosh
2- Lee
3- Boozer
4- Amare

And if we sign Lee...and Favors pans out...one of them gets traded later. Figure out how to get me Paul...dont really care who..lol.

Lee is younger, more versatile (while a defensive liability, he has a lot of experience at center, which is key with Favors here) and doesn't have an injury history.

I certainly dont think Lee is all that. he has his flaws for sure. But...all these guys do and you have to pay them more to see them play less.

Factor in his work ethic, heart and being a team player...great future...chemistry will come easy for him and the Nets...

I never thought he had a chance of being this type of player...but he trys to out work everyone, of course there are flaws, but he's young...Extending his jumper to 3pt land...I dunno, but just improving that shot, things look even better...

I say go with David Lee, Lopez's game could help him out in a long run and on top of that he's a good player too

I don't have anything against signing Lee but the contract would have to be reasonable as (hopefully) in a couple of years I'd want to move Lee in favor of moving Favors into the starting lineup...
