he was on ESPNews 10pm 6/30/10

2- Bosh has been assured he is getting 6 yr Sign and Trade Max from either Miami or Chicago

Toronto: will not take Deng and they want Noah which they (Chicago) would be adding Bosh and losing Noah

two parts of the segment that i will quote. Looks like only way Bosh gets to CHI is with Noah. We wont take Deng, Gibson seems redundant and id rather the Miami package. So buckle up because these next couple hours are going to be crazy. Trading Noah for Bosh does free up enough to get Lebron to the Bulls too. Their were rumors of a Deng for Pietrus / Gortat swap too.

If we end up with either Noah or Beasley + Collison (with a TPE), I'll be very, very, happy.

I saw the segment earlier. It seemed like he was just speculating, not that he had any hard sources. I'm thinking he's pretty much correct about this though. Miami and Chicago would no doubt give him the full max.

I'm also glad we're not going to be taking Deng and are pushing for Noah. Probably the best news of the day so far.

You can stay up all night and get nothing but tired.

Bosh is meeting with a bunch of teams tomorrow and Friday.

As for the sign and trade, this is tampering for sure if he knows what Chicago and Miami will do, and it proves something I said months ago. Anyone who is under the gun to get Bosh signed will have to make a deal with Toronto as quickly as possible, and that in itself is leverage. I'd be pleasantly shocked if Chicago's panic turns into Noah being packaged to us, but some insane things are happening tonight, like Brewer being turned loose by Memphis and JJ being offered the max by Atlanta.

It's always been assumed Chicago won't offer Noah, but now is when push comes to shove... they're not getting Bosh without it, and they're not getting LeBron/Wade without Bosh. Should be interesting.

To add on to that, I give it a 55% (Miami) - 25% (Chicago) - 15% (Cleveland) - 5% (Other) right now.

Which would mean 55% Beasley, 25% Noah, 15% Varejao chances for us. I'm okay with that.

I'd still take Gibson. He has value. But Noah would be great. I mean, just awesome. Bosh is obviously the better player but Noah has all the intangibles and hustle and he is a fun guy. I would love to get Noah, never thought it was realistic though, and I remain still sceptic that the Bulls give him up.

I still think its a possibility that we end up with Noah. If Chicago has a chance at Lebron and he says "get Bosh", you get him no matter what. Noah is not a deal breaker for a Bosh/James combo.
