Post#1 » by spadez24 » Mon Jul 5, 2010 4:15 am

Sup Wolves fans... I'm asking y'all what would y'all want on our squad except Dwight of course lol for Al Jefferson... My proposed trade would be Gortat,Anderson, Pietrus and 1st for Jefferson and Sessions... Thoughts

We have no use for Gortat and wouldn't want his contract. A third team would have to be brought in.

Or I would like Pietrus, Anderson, and Reddick somehow or another, but unfortunatly we're kind of loaded at the wing, I think Reddick would do well here.

Yeah, I just don't really see it. None of the players mentioned above really fit what the Wolves need (least of all Gortat). I don't think the Magic and Wolves make good trading partners.

It would need to be a 3-way deal.

Of course, kahn seems to like "exciting" players regardless of age or defensive ability. So who knows.

I beginning to think TKF discovered rev's password.

A third team has to be involved and I think that would have to be Chicago. The question is who get's Deng? Just a heads up, I'd be more interested if you can give us the rights to Vasquez. His contract with Barcelona ends after the 10-11 season, and I'm hoping Rubio could convince him to join him in Minnesota next year.

Who is TKF?

I had a convo about the lee situation tonight that left me pretty upset. Sorry about venting. I guess being an injuried combat vet away from your family on the 4th does not help either.

Vasquez has made it pretty known that he is not coming over. I guess it would be a gamble, but not anything to look forward to.

I actually think Deng is a better option then most of what is out there. His contract sucks but he is young, he plays the 2/3 spot, he defends and he can shoot. Better then friggin Monta.

Kahn seems to give hyper-value to high picks that haven't performed well, so I think he'd want to see Fran Vazquez in a trade.

After that, I don't see how ORL's pieces fit very well for MIN. I agree with previous posters that you'd need to include a third team that can include young, low production guys with upside.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Did they say that they really are interested in Lee, and this isn't just some clever ruse?

rev- happy 4th, your a hero in my book.

TRADE IDEAS:
where to start. Al needs to go. John Wooden once said, "Failure is not fatal, however failure to change can be". I am really tired of everyone saying, just keep Al he is our best player. GET OVER IT. He does not fit in the style of basketball this franchise wants to play.

NYK in: Al, Monta
NYK out: Lee, Chandler, S.Rodriguez
GSW in: Love, Sessions, Brewer
GSW out: Monta, Randolph
MIN in: Lee, S.Rodriguez, Randolph, Chandler
MIN out: Jefferson, Sessions, Brewer, Love

maybe?

I could probably be talked into Carter, Anderson, Orton and a first for Jefferson and Hollins. They could swap Anderson for Robinson if they really wanted.

Why? We could have had Orton if we wanted him. Why do we need Ryan Anderson? What would you do with Vince on this roster?

Ryan aderson could be a 3/4 guy off the bench... but he is not very atheltic which is what we want.

Can we involve NJ to get Favors :)
