David Lee has agreed to a six-year, $80 million deal with the Warriors via a sign-and-trade.

Guys, If David Lee got a 6 year 80 million deal, what do you think Al horford is going to get next year?
Ok we overpaid JJ, but Josh makes 56mil of 5 years... maybe it time to try to package Al, Marvin and Bibby to denver for Melo and sign Shaq. At best we can convice him to re sign and that the ATL could be his town (ala D Wilken in the 80's) At worst, we free some cap space with Marvin & Bibby contracts also J Crawford's 10 mill ends this year and maybe we over pay for Greg Oden next year

Hard call considering there will likely be a lockout next summer. Without that I would anticipate full max extension (Rudy Gay money). If nothing else, the Nets might be a competing bidder.

Overpay for Oden? Given his health and Joe's money that would likely doom the Hawks for the rest of the decade.
