i cant wait to see what we have in Escobar.. hopefully he can get out of the slump he was in with the Braves. i think a change of scenary might do him some good

I think the thing I'll notice first will be his size. When's the last time we had a 'big' SS? Not that it necessarily matters, but we've jumped from Eckstein to McDonald to Scutaro to Gonzalez, etc. This kid's built solid.
Is anybody here a marine biologist?

Better question might be, how many big SS are there in the first place? There's a hand full of guys like Esco, Jeter, Hanley, and Tulo at 6'3"ish 200ish and the rest are usually the smallest on the field.
