Since Bill Walton and Jim Gray Are On Board

Post#1 » by Kingsforlife » Sun Aug 8, 2010 1:38 am

kings theme song last year

next year the theme song is obviously

have NBA on CSN lol with kings logo instead of nba logo and the comcast sportsnet logo instead of the nbc logo.

All the graphics should look like that too lol.

Obviously also bring back the same jerseys as alternative idc if they dont change would be epic ****.

You're lucky you were to young. That was the first time I ever spontaneously started crying due to a sporting event. It's the worst feeling in the world.

I have really mixed feelings about that game because at the time that whole playoff run is what really got me interested in professional basketball, and the brand of basketball the kings played is A. the reason I became a fan of the NBA and B the reason I became a kings fan. But, I've always been a robert horry fan. In my mind he is the epitome of what a role player should be, he was fearless on the court, made all of the little plays on offense and defense, and due to that he was afforded the right to take those huge shots, also a reason I'm a fan of the NBA. So for me that whole incident is mixed up. Looking back it's a more painful thing than it was for me 8 years ago when it happened.

Count yourselves as lucky. For the majority that do remember it haunts our dreams.

^^^i was 14 in 2002 and like KM44 it too was the 1st time 4 me...GOD I HATE HORRY...thing is vlade swatted the rebound away as if so that the clock would run out and nobody got the rebound, but frkn big shot rob had to be there w/ his feet set just waiting for the ball to land on his hands to murder us...AHHHHH thinkn about it makes me so angry...enough 2002; 2012 looks brighter IMO!

Young bucks!

I was making a sandwich in the kitchen @ my mom's house. As soon as the ball was tipped to Horry I dropped every thing in my hand and started crawling towards the tv screaming NOOOO!

Then he hit the damn shot.

Speaking of Robert Horry I was @ the Black Pearl (now it's Aura) when the Spurs/Kings playoff series was in town. Rob Horry was at the bar and I gave him a look like dude do you really thing it's safe for you to be out in this town? I also saw Sean Elliot. He's a cool guy. I talked to him for a minute.

I was crushed for weeks...I couldn't believe it happened. I woke up in the morning, hoping it was just a dream...but it was more than a nightmare :(
